Played Marion Pleasant tonight.  Computer simulations made us a 9 point underdog.  We have 17 playoff trips and have won five state titles (3 in the playoff era), MP has as many trips and has won 4 titles, all in the playoff era.  THIS was a matchup of powers. 

WJ held a slim 19-14 lead at the half.  Pleasant's Reid Masters (is that a porn name, or what) scored 2 TD's i the 3rd.  Pleasant 28-19 at the start of the 4th.  35 points in 3 quarters.

Next up: Coldwater who thumped Versailles for the 2nd time this season 43-0 (which was the score at the half)  No word on where the game will be played but I'm betting Troy.  This is a rematch of LAST season's Regional title game!  Coldwater won that one 44-12.  Not THIS year, baby.

What's to come?  

• More tax hikes than would have been necessary with Senate Bill 5
• More layoffs of teachers, firefighters, and police than would have been necessary with Senate Bill 5
• More service cuts than would have been necessary with Senate Bill 5
• None of Senate Bill 5’s drop-dead obvious reforms to benefits & automatic pay hikes
• More lost House seats as employers and citizens flee

Those who voted No on Issue 2 have guaranteed the results they were told their votes would prevent. This is bad news for anyone who doesn’t get rich from the government union racket, especially the thousands of young public workers whose jobs will be sacrificed on the altar of union demands.

In other surprising news - Obamacare was defeated by almost the same vote that defeated Issue 5.  I cannot figure that out.  Not at all.

7.  Texans.  Just wait until they get Andre back!

8.  Da Bears.  Killer schedule.  Builts for bad weather.  They could be the winter surprise.

In so doing, they denied plain facts they must know to be true. They lied to Congress.

Why? Had the officials answered truthfully, they would have to admit that California’s greenhouse gas motor vehicle emissions law, AB 1493, which EPA approved in June 2009, violates the Energy Policy Conservation Act’s (EPCA) express preemption of state laws or regulations “related to” fuel economy. The officials would also have to admit that EPA is effectively regulating fuel economy, a function outside the scope of its statutory authority.

1.  LSU.  I thought it was an ugly game.  Hard faught.  Watchable.  Exciting.  But ugly.  The clubbing a Bama player took on punt coverage in the 4th qtr should've resulted in an ejection.  VERY close call on the LSU goal line interception.  I picked Bama by 2 points.  Lost.  I BET LSU +5 1/2.  Won.

Buckeyes?  Still not top 25 material, but a win over PSU (side question: will they have to forfeit any games due to the current issues?) which I think they'll get, should do it.  The school up north could hang a double digit loss on 'em.

This post could've been put into several catagories (a limitation of this platform is I can only choose one.)  And the 1,000 words catagory might have been an equally good heading.   According to the good folks over at Investors Business Daily income inequality grew MOST under Clinton and President Obama looks to overtake even THAT rate.
