TEAM PROJECTS:

Automated Payroll System (Senior Project)

With a team of six students designed and developed an information system to computerize a manual payroll

system for a small business, utilizing MS Access. Our system captured worked hours and produced reports

with entered data. Every subsequent year after the proposed system is implemented there will be a cost savings

of $10,800 per year. 

Business Telecommunications

With a four member team worked in a laboratory setting in which Windows NT was studied.  Implemented and administered a client server network using Windows NT 4.0.  Configured user accounts, web pages, file and print sharing.

Data Base Management

Developed and documented the logical and physical database design for a simulated catalog company,

and implemented the design in Personal Oracle8i. Selected reports were generated with Oracle’s Report

Builder.

Marketing Research and Information

Developed a specific survey to see what target groups at CSUS would be interested in a student identification

card with the features of a credit card. Administered survey and gathered results to see what kind of impact

such a card would have on students.
