Josh12345671: man everyones gonna think i died

He's still alive, don't worry. This page is dedicated to the legacy of Lyle, aka Josh Coles. Hailing from Canton, Ohio, he joined the Interceptors at the tender age of 17. His dedication to the band during its formative stages was second-to-none, as evidenced by his willingness to commute from Canton to Strongsville for practice.

During the early months of the Interceptors' existence, Lyle showed his prowess in other areas besides bass by competing in the Interceptors Open, a golf tournament held in Wickliffe, Ohio. His score of 49 was good enough to tie for 2nd with Biff.

Onstage, Lyle played a Yamaha bass with a growl worse than a Doberman. This was probably due to his Ampeg bass cabinet powered by a Fender Deluxe guitar amplifier. This gave the Interceptors a low-end rumble with enough dirt to keep things rocking during solos.

Strangely enough, his mastery at bass did not gain him much support from the band's female fans. At the Symposium on August 2nd, he was virtually ignored by two of the more "easygoing" women in the crowd, while the rest of the band couldn't get away from them.

After the initial demise of the Interceptors, Lyle joined up with The Vermin. Sadly, because he's playing with the Vermin full-time now, he will not be able to continue with the Interceptors during our 2nd run.

We wish Lyle the best of luck with the Vermin, and miss him dearly.
