Welcome to the Earthsoc website. For those of you that have paid the tiny fee of £3.50 and got involved with the socials you may want to check the photos page (link at the bottom of the page) to see if your mugshot has been included this week (regularly updated). For those of you who haven't joined yet you can join every Thursday (unless there is an organised social) in the Pen & Wig. But what can we offer you?

If you haven't got a ticket for the Earthsoc then you've missed out. We have sold over 200 tickets so its going to be one hell of a night "Balls Up"

Got your mapping project area yet? Want some advice about what you might encounter? get answers that the lecturers might not know by emailing (we can put you in touch with someone that has already tackled your area) - earthsoc@hotmail.com
We the kind people at Earthsoc organise regluar socials so you can get to know, not only the people on your degree scheme, but from the whole department. You may have the opportunity to make friends with a postgrad who could do all your work for you.... but you won't know until you try. Successful socials to, date were the threelegged pub crawl , a round of pub golf and a fantastic
band night .As a rough plan socials will occur every second week but check this site, your e-mail and the notice board (Second floor opposite the wheelchair access ramp)
The Earth Sciences Department makes a welcome return to the IMG (Inter Mural Games) football league. The EarthSoc team plays every Wednesday on the Talybont or Blackweir pitches. Training is on a Sunday morning (meet 11 o'clock behind the Blackweir Tavern). If you want to play then either contact Nick or turn up to training on Sunday.
