SURVIVORS,
Big Brother wannabe
It was always on the cards really, ITV trying to cash in on the success of REALITY television. After the success of Popstars, and with the infamous Nigel onboard, ITV thought they were onto a winner, when they signed the License to bring Survivor’s to these shores. Even with all those subliminal adverts 1 month before broadcast could not bring in the viewers, Survivors just hasnt got it. Theatrical Camera shots and Moody music do not make a good t.v show. Crappy games designed to bring the team mates closer together just dont work. And what is all that about the Flame signifying their life on this island....how tacky can you get. Up against the brilliant Big Brother 2 on Channel 4, it really didnt stand a chance...GOOD, back to the drawing board you good people at ITV.
