The Breakfast Club
"The Breakfast Club is about people, personality types, human behavior, strengths and vulnerabilities.  It is about stereotypes and breaking them down. It's about prejudice and gaining greater understanding through communication. It's about rebellion, and also about teamwork.  It's about life."

John Hughes productions are always fresh, funny, and sparkling with is keen sense of wit, but no movie of his displays this in quite the same way as his 1985 release The Breakfast Club. The greatest decision he ever made was to put Judd Nelson as John Bender, the wisecracking criminal that found his way into all of our hearts through comments like "Screws fall out all the time, the world's an inperfect place."
