Ten Reasons As to Why Cross Country Must Die:
1. Okay, so the fact that he wants us to run 5 miles a day, 6 days a week, only effects me because I have no time to run 5 miles a day 6 days a week.
2. Organization is good really, but not when I can hardly make any practices and meets because I have work..and if I miss one practice I'm off the team. Arr....
3. Team Rules are for sissys.
4. I always hated the whole I need to go run or I'm not going to be in shape business.
5. Running in general sucks a lot, I mean I don't think I know one person who actually enjoys it.
6. If only I could manage my time better so I could do everything I wanted to.
7. The meets shouldn't be at 5:00 in the afternoon on school days..
8. You actually have to give your all in it. And Dr. E wants me to give my all in ...mock trial..how can I do both at once??
9. DID I MENTION I HATE RUNNING!?!?!
10. I hate everything about it actually, the meets, the weather and how it's never perfect, the practices, the stretching, the clothes, the running shoes, me forgeting socks, my hair getting all in my face, the way i look when i run...the awful pain, the feeling of nauseness.
hmm..looks like i'm going to actually going to be devoted to cross country this year.
i <3 cross country???
