Phillips Legion is a proud Member of The Volunteer Cavalry Battalion!
Phillips Legion Reenactor unit was formed in 1994 by members of the Fayette Dragoons cavalry unit. Our impression is that of a confederate cavalry unit. Unlike the real Phillip's Legion, our unit does an Army of Tennessee impression. Our �official� Federal designation is that of the 4th U.S. Kentucky Mounted Infantry.Our unit was formed with the desire to enjoy the hobby, work on historical accuracy and impressions of mounted Infantry which is never portrayed. We have Members through out north west and central Georgia and are a pretty close knit group of friends. We are a member of The Georgia volunteer battalion and Gerogia Volunteer Cavalry Battalion and support alot of events in georgia,but we do also go to events in Fl,al,north and south carolina,Tn and Ky.
