WYLD STALLYNS!!!

EXCELLENT!!!

Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure:

Don't even start with me. I've heard it all. "The acting sucks." "There is no plot." "The music is horrible."

Cry me a river. If I wanted your opinion, I'd tell it to you. Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure is the best movie...EVER!!!

The plot, contrary to popular whining, is amazing. Bill and Ted, two borderline dropouts, are given by their teacher one final opportunity to pass high school, so long as they get an A on their final history project. Desperate to make the grade, and facing the prospect of military school, the friends travel back in time via telephone booth to collect various historical figures.

It's historical. It's educational. It's entertaining. What more do you people want???

The end result is a history project to make any high school student envious. I mean, check it out:

Historical Dudes / Dudettes:

Joan of Arc - Not Noah's wife.

Freud - The Frood dude.

Genghis Khan - Watch out China, here he comes!

Napoleon - A short dead dude.

Socrates - All we are is dust in the wind, dude.

Abraham Lincoln - "Be excellent to each other... and... PARTY ON, DUDES!"

Billy the Kid - AKA "Mister" the Kid

Beethoven - Deaf, but still jammin'

Still not convinced???

Excellent Movie Quotes:

Ted: "Strange things are afoot at the Circle-K."

Ox: "Everything is different, but the same... things are more moderner than before... bigger, and yet smaller... it's computers... San Dimas High School football rules!"

Mr. Ryan: "All you boys seemed to have learned is that Caesar is a "salad dressing dude."

Bill: "The only true wisdom consists of knowing you know nothing".
Ted: "That's us, dude!"

Freud: "Tell me about your mother."

Bill: "I'm Bill S. Preston, Esquire."
Ted: "And I'm Ted "Theodore" Logan."
Bill & Ted: "And together, we're WYLD STALLYNS!"

Bill [to peasant]: "Excuse me. Do you know where there are any personages of historical significance around here?"

Useless Movie Trivia:

The Circle K shown throughout the film is located in Tempe, Arizona. That's the same city where Ohio State destroyed Miami in the 2002 Fiesta Bowl.

The school from the movie is, in reality, Coronado High School, in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Joan of Arc is played by Jane Wiedlin, from the Go Go's.

Missy, Bill's step-mom, isn't much older than he is. In fact, she was a senior when Bill and Ted were freshmen. Ted even asked her to the prom that year!

Bill and Ted are huge Van Halen fans. Ted wears a '5150' t-shirt, and they plan to ask Eddie Van Halen to join the Wyld Stallyns in the future.

In the scene where Bill and Ted pick up Napoleon, you might notice the reused footage from "War and Peace" in the background.

Directors Ed Solomon and Chris Matheson make a cameo appearance as the "Ziggy Piggy" Ice Cream waiters.

Keanu Reeves (Ted) and Alex Winter (Bill) originally auditioned for each others roles.

If you're not a fan by now, I've got nothing for ya.
