This one has a stupid story behind it. I had a crush on a girl, a pretty big crush I guess. Nothing to act upon, just one to have? I dunno how to explain it. Anyway, Josh (Kirby) one night went to a show with Big D and Kicked In The Head that she went to, and claimed not only to have met her but that he stole her from me. It was all a joke, but I'm kind of irrational so I got upset and went downstairs and started playing the piano to let out steam. This is what came out... the music first, and the words wrote themselves. The greatest thing about this song, I think, is where the title came from. I typed Best Friends into googlism.
