ROBERTS, THOMAS ALAN - age 65 of 424 Bamboo Lane, Melbourne, Fla., formerly
of Madisonville, passed away suddenly 6:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2002 in San
Bernardino County, Calif. Son of the late Horace & Alice Roberts. Veteran
of the US Army, employed by Werner Enterprises. Preceded in
death by sister, Mary Helen Duford; brother, Harry Roberts. Family includes:
Jessie Bailey Roberts, Melbourne, Fla.; their daughters & son in law, Amy
& Joe Gerlach, Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., Beth Ann Roberts, Melbourne, Fla.;
grandchildren, Katie, Maggie & Libby Gerlach, all of Palm Beach Gardens,
Fla., Emily Roberts, Melbourne, Fla.; sisters, Lucy Roberts, Edgewater, Fla.,
Betty Ann Head, Maryville; several nieces and nephews. Funeral 3 p.m. Sunday
Biereley-Hale Chapel, Rev. Brian Courtney officiating. Interment in Sunset Cemetery.
Donations may be made in his honor to Blount County Children's Home, 903 McCammon
Ave. Maryville, Tenn. 37801. Family will receive friends 1-3 p.m. Sunday at
Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville.

HEADLINE: MR. CHRIS NEWSOME TRUCK DRIVER
DATELINE: WARRENVILLE, S.C.
Entered into rest on Wednesday, October 30, 2002, Mr. Chris Robert Newsome,
husband of Mrs. Deanna Boyd Newsome, of Grace Hurst Road, Warrenville.
Surviving are his father and stepmother, Verlin and Kay Newsome of North Augusta, and his mother Annette Murphy Newsome of Hephzibah; two daughters, Hannah Newsome and Emily Newsome, both of Warrenville; two brothers, Gerry Newsome of Hephzibah, and Shawn Newsome, of Augusta; a sister Stephanie Newsome of Augusta; a stepbrother, Jimmy Lomar, a stepsister, Sandra Rice, and a half brother, Jason Newsome all of North Augusta. Mr. Newsome was born in Augusta. He was a truck driver with Werner Enterprises.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 2 p.m., in the Hatcher Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Jerry Hewatt officiating. Internment in Langley Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Sean Cato, DeWayne Johnson, Michael Able, Cale Newsome, Ricky Boyd Jr., and Henry Ray.
Friends may call at the residence or on Monday from 5 to 8 PM at the Hatcher Funeral Home, U.S. Hwy. #1, Langley, S.C.
