Front End Construction
This is how I do the Forks. I don't know the length they will be yet, so I have just cut them to a random length that I know will be longer than needed. I have purchased large size 3/4" nuts and ground them down to fit very snuggly inside the tube. Forced them down a little below the surface of the tube and welded them in place. I push them below the surface so the weld dose not build up on the end of the tube. I want the tube to be able to bolt flush with the trees when they are bolted up.
