NEWS!!! Okay, so we are huge liars. The reunion show turned into the last show which, in turn, gave us enough stamina to play August 8th for "one more time".

Yeah, we're back for more. This time it's no joke though as Southern Trespass has a re-vamped line-up, a pending record deal and touring in the future. So get ready to get down as we welcome Kris Monroe and Tim Long (of Sign Offs fame and current members of Cleveland's Dozen Dead Roses) into the fold. To celebrate this historic note in Trespass history we will be playing a HUGE Christmas show on Dec. 23rd @ The Jigsaw in Parma. Mark it down because it's the only way you'll have a happy holiday.

We've got a f'n BLOG now. I don't know how to post links so just copy and past, dogg.

Old News :Cleveland got it's lame shit kicked on Nov. 5th @ the now legendary Hi*Fi club when the kings of sleaze did it one more time. After two years of heavy boozing and drugging Southern Trespass reunited. Remember that Wu Tang song? 'Reunited/Hold world excited', or something like that? Well, maybe the world was not hip to this show but Cleveland was and the club was packed, elbow to elbow.

Big thanks goes to Damn Near Killed Him who started the night of with a heavy as fuck set. The Bamboo Kids followed with there NYC brand of punk rock. Then the house got torn to shreds when Cleveland's pride and joy, Mr. Ryan Harkins, introduced us all to Bang! Bang! from Detroit, Michigan. My shoes are still full of glass. The Detroit showcase of rock continued when Grande Nationals plowed through a set of catchy rock and roll that could have only come out the rust belt of the world.

At nearly one thirty in the AM, Southern Trespass took the stage after slurred introduction by Nick Wolfe (For those that don’t know Nick is Parma's resident comic genius. Drew Carry is bitch in comparison.) and a blast of fireworks. For once EVERYONE actually left the bar and came to watch a what would go down as one of the biggest moments in Cleveland music. The energy pulsed through the air and goose bumps lingered up every set of arms. Before you knew it...the set was over. But what a set it was. Afterward Amps II Eleven performed a surprise set but the people in attendance would remember just one thing, that Cleveland once was home to the greatest band in the world. You don’t know what you've got till it's gone. It takes a Cinderella song and one last Southern Trespass show to really open up your eyes.

Picture this: Wailing guitars cut down by a roar of feedback, a drunken drummer twirling his 'stix', Thundering bass making virgin eardrums bleed, A keyboard played who ISN't gay, and a singer throwing back his gender-bending hair locks as he asks the nearly orgasmic crowd:

"Are you Alive Out There??!!??"

No, this is not a description of Guns and Roses hitting those first chords of "It's So Easy" at the Tokyo Dome in front of 55,000 screaming japanese metalists. It's a taste of what it was like to see Clevelands GREATEST sleeze rock band ever, SOUTHERN TRESPASS.

The Trespass was a force in Clevo rock from 2001 to 2002 playing outlandish shows highlighted by curse words and fire balls. They showed up the best: Stepsister, Enuff Z Nuff, The Bullet Boys, The Sign Offs, The Gaza Strippers, Hedwig and the Angry Inch Band, Crash of '59 and others. Sadily they couldent keep it together and due to the general drunken mess they all had become the band called it quits. But fret not, the band did manage to record three songs under the watchful eye of Warrants Billy Morris in the fall of 2002. Don't look for it because they probably dont even have a copy. But you can go check out a show or two by their new projects, Amps II Eleven, Kill City Kills and Charlie WK respectively. Yet, I hear, some still speak of the eventual return of these dirty bastards that Hollywood forgot. For this day I await with a bottle of whiskey and a hand on my heart. CHEERS!
