This here is the finest tavern in all of Nottinghamshire. You can't find any better ale within a hundred miles. All kinds of people gather here. Even outlaws they say! Adrian, the proprietor, won't admit to no wolfshead in his tavern, but no one believes him.

See! I told you Adrian was a liar! Its Will Scarlet, formerly Scathlocke. He is a member of Robin Hood's band. Scarlet is famed for his short temper and violent nature. Of course he enjoys a good drink.

Scarlet met Robin in the dungeons of Nottingham Castle. He was scheduled to hang for killing 3 soldiers who raped and murdered his wife, obviously he is a bitter person. He joins fighting, and killing, especially if its Norman soldiers he is killing. Authority, even Robin's, chafes him. Though he does have a well concealed soft side.

This isn't the Scarlet who frolicked in red tights beside Errol Flynn. Hell no! He is on a personal mission to rid the world of anyone in chainmail. Do you see tights anywhere? Of course not! Tights are for Normans.
