New Year, Dead Friends

Title: New Year, Dead Friends (1/1)

Angelus awoke slowly, feeling very pleased with himself. His wayward childe had showed up last night with his own childe in tow. The two had slaughtered the humans that work for Angel, then came down to gloat, knowing that the demon would desire to show Spike and Xander who was in control. His soul never had a chance.

Angelus got up and looked at the two males still in the bed. When Angelus had moved, Spike rolled over and latched onto Xander. The two had been thoroughly fucked and claimed by the older vampire. Angelus watched as Xander awoke, opening his liquid brown eyes slowly.

Xander saw Angelus and smiled. His sire and grandsire were together, which made his demon very happy. He knew they would teach him everything he needed to know. Angelus beckoned and Xander untangled himself from Spike’s arms and went to the older vampire, who took possession of his mouth, then said, “Show me what you two did upstairs.”

Xander ran to the elevator, pulling Angelus along, eager to show off their work. They quickly ascended and stepped out of the elevator. Angelus took in the sight, a vampire’s dream. Cordelia’s tongue had been ripped out, all her hair pulled out, and her throat slashed. Then Xander had carefully arranged her at the reception desk. Wesley had been skinned and basically turned inside out, his internal organs lined up neatly beside him.

“I thought you might like the skin, as a souvenir,” said Xander, watching Angelus’ reactions closely.

Angelus pulled the youth in for a searing kiss before replying, “How very thoughtful. Definitely something to be treasured.”

“Oi, Peaches. You didn’t wait for me!” Spike said indignantly, joining his sire and childe.

“You looked tired, Wil. I didn’t want to wake you,” smirked Angelus.

If Spike could blush, he would have. “Did he show you what I did yet?”

“No, we were just admiring Wesley,” said Angelus.

“Good,” said Spike. “‘Cause it’s time you had a remind as to why I chose this name.”

Pieces of Gunn were scattered up and down the stairs, each carefully scored and marked by railroad spikes. Spike had fixed Gunn’s head to the banister at the bottom of the stairs.

“Very amusing, Wil,” Angelus sighed, watching his childe pull the head up the banister as they carefully made their way up the stairs.

“But, Sire,” said Spike, “if you let it go, it slides down to the bottom.”

“It’s almost like a Slinky,” said Xander. Both older vampires turned to stare at him. “You know, Slinky!” They shook their heads. “‘What goes down stairs, alone or in pairs? It’s Slinky, Slinky, the most wonderful toy on earth!’ Oh, never mind!”

In the hall at the top of the stairs, they came across the mangled corpse of Fred. Spike had individually removed each vertibrae from her spine before twisting the girl’s appendages into interesting positions.

“Very nice, Wil,” approved Angelus. “You know, we really should call Buffy. I’m sure she’s worried about you two. And they need to hear about the unfortunate murders here.”

“You’re right, Peaches. They’ve prob’ly turned the bloody town upside down looking for the whelp. Or maybe not.”

“Yeah, they might not even have noticed my house burned down yet,” supplied Xander.

“Hello?”

“Giles?”

“Xander? Where are you? Willow’s frantic,” Giles sounded slightly annoyed.

“I’ve been in LA. Um, my house is gone.”

“We gathered that, thank you. Willow went to your house to get you for a meeting and all she saw was a charred ruin.”

“It burned down on Christmas. Spike brought me to LA. My parents died. Angel needs to talk to you.” Xander handed the phone to Angel.

“It took you until now to realize the boy’s gone?”

“Well, we’ve… been busy,” said Giles nervously.

“Still,” said Angelus. “I had Xander call to inform you of his whereabouts and because there’s been… several murders here.”

“Murders?” asked Giles.

“Yes, Cordy, Wes, Gunn, and Fred have all been mutilated. We’re coming to Sunnydale. We don’t think it’s safe here for us anymore.”
