Gravis

Age: ???
Height: 5’10”
Weight: 196 lbs.
Special Abilities: Can shoot fireballs of various sizes, has a form of teleportation.
Appearance: Wears red Shirai Ryu gear.
Weapons: Twin ninja swords, and a spearhead on a rope.
(Moves)
Flashpoint: Gravis jumps into the air, either toward or away from his opponent, disappears a few inches off the ground, then appears either above or behind him/her.
Catch!: With a few quick gestures, Gravis launches a flaming ball, roughly the size of his two fists put together, at his opponent.
Double Whammy: First, Gravis fires a projectile at the ground near his opponent’s feet, blast him/her into the air, Gravis then jumps up and Flashpoints to a spot high above his opponent’s rising body. Gravis starts falling toward his upwardly mobile opponent, and when they meet, Gravis slams both fists into his/her chest, killing their upward speed, and sending him/her hurtling back toward the ground. Gravis then Flashpoints to safety.
(Weapon Moves)
Reeled In: Gravis throws his spear at his opponent, hitting them where he may, then yanks the rope, pulling his foe closer for a nice free shot.
Whispering Winds: Gravis pulls out his twin swords and attacks his opponent with a quick flurry of slashes. None are very deep, but they are plentiful.
(Fatalities)
The BIG One: Gravis’ second favourite fatality. He stands in front of his defeated and dazed opponent, making slow gestures with his arms. The gestures speed up, and as they do, fire starts to collect around Gravis’ arms. When Gravis decides the amount of flame is enough, he thrusts both arms forward, palms out, and fires a huge fireball at his opponent, incinerating him/her immediately.
Cruelty: Gravis launches a fireball at his opponent’s feet, Flashpoints to the spot s/he was standing in, shoots a fireball upward at him/her, then Flashpoints above him/her, and fires another one downward before Flashpointing to the ground. By the time the battered and burned body hits the ground, it has achieved terminal velocity, splattering on impact like a bug on a windshield. This one’s Gravis’ favourite.
Show Off: Gravis’ least favourite of his fatalities, he feel’s it’s too “showy”. Gravis walks over to his opponent, grabs his/her wrist, twisting his/her arm. Gravis then kicks him/her in the ribs, then the back of the knee, dropping him/her to a kneeling position, and putting more pressure on their arm. Gravis then knees his opponent in the face, then spins around and kicks him/her in the back of the head, driving him/her forward. Gravis then pulls on their arm, and adds a few more kicks for motivation, pulling his badly bleeding opponent to his/her feet. Gravis proceeds to heel kick him/her in the jaw, snapping his/her neck. All this is done in about three and a half seconds.
(Weapon Fatalities)
Hangman: Gravis throws his spear at an angle, so that the rope catches on his opponent’s neck, wrapping the rope around twice before the spearhead embeds itself in the hapless victim’s clavicle. Gravis then Flashpoints to a tree branch, or an over hang (if any), then jumps down the other side, using his weight to draw the rope tight, yanking his opponent off his/her feet, and effectively strangling him/her.
Raptor: Gravis pulls out both his swords, then starts a slow back flip, Flashpoints above and behind his opponent, and does a double swipe, relieving his opponent of his/her head.
Point Taken: Gravis throws his spear at his opponent, yanks them toward him, drops the rope, pulls out his swords, and impales his opponent when s/he arrives.
(Background) Trained as a ninja assassin by the Shirai Ryu, Gravis decided at a young age that his ideals didn’t match those of his clan, unfortunately, the clan also discovered this, and tried to have him killed, along with his friend, Savage. However, the two men survived, and, knowing that their former clan would never stop hunting them, they went their separate ways. Gravis doesn’t know where Savage went, but he found him. That’s another story though. Gravis went to Korea, and lived in a small village in secrecy for a while, until he was arrested by Korean military. Of course, due to his ability to Flashpoint, no prison could hold him. Before he escaped, however, he also released eight other prisoners, seven of which were Jareth Dahrkolm as his band of mercenaries at the time. After helping these men with their escape, Gravis went on with them to help them complete their mission, subsequently earning himself a membership to their crew of elite soldiers.
