Name: Clair Autruche

Name Meaning: Clair means 'bright' in French,and Autruche means 'bunch of flowers' so when you put it together you get 'bright bunch of flowers'.

Age: 17, going onto her 7th year

Likes: Clair likes when it rains and storms, she feels that perfect days are too good to be true, just as love is. Clair also likes to shop at Muggle stores and see what kinds of things they have. She also likes certain Muggle foods.

Dislikes: Clair doesn't like Muggle books, they just don't appeal to her. She finds them to be exaggerated and unclear in their meanings. She doesn't like make up of any kind, only natural ingredients but besides that Clair likes her own complextion as it is.

Hobbies: Clair enjoy's watching the weather and its never ending changes. She takes intelligent notes and many of them have been published in the Augurey Library for reference. People say she knows and understands more about the weather than anyone.

Aspirations: Clair hopes to become one of the teaching staff as she has always hoped.

Appearance: Clair has chestnut brown hair that goes to her shoulders and is wavy-straight with soft edges. She mostly wheres it up in a messy bun with two strands that always seem to fall upon her face. Clair also has natural faded highlights. Her eyes are a faded green color which contrasts with her hair. Clair is 5'4'' and has a light natural tan. She is a healthy weight and keeps her appearance up. You will most likely see Clair in her uniform but when she is on her own time or vacation she loves to wear Muggle clothing as said above. The clothes are usually of an earthen tone, which is basically faded colors as it brings out her natural features better.

Personality: Clair has many personalitys. She is usually polite when meeting someone but as soon as they do something that offends her or that she feels is wrong, she usually gives them the cold shoulder. Clair can occasionally holds grudges and can be a very jealous person. But as soon as you know who she is, it won't seem the same and you will understand these feelings. People describe her like the weather "Ever changing as the world turns." Clair had a hard time at making friends. She was picky. Not in the "I'm popular and your not" kind of way...but she just couldn't find many people who could understand her emotions and the way she acts. She did find some friends but most of them faded as Clair got older, but only one of the friends she had stuck, and that was Aurelia Cailan. Aurelia was the only one who understood her and didn't consider Clair to be a "geek"or anything because Clair usually got straight A's because the way she figured it is "If you have to do something, do it right the first and then you don't have to worry about it anymore." Clair is a patient person and doesn't like to be disrupted when working.

Love: Clair is a bit confused with love because most of the guys she has met in her lifetime(lol oO;) can't make a commitment because of their other intrests, etc. And Clair feels that if they can't commit don't even bother because whats a relationship without commitment? She hates when guys try to make her feel all special on the first date when she knows that they do it just to butter her up and try to make her more vulnerable.And thats one thing Clair is not.Clair will know when she comes across the right guy who is like her and understands the true meaning of love.

History: Clair was born to Joseph and Mary Autruche. Her mother is a full blooded witch and her father Joseph,only half wizard and half muggle. Mary is usually found gazing at the stars or studying the many surroundings of the world. And Joseph runs his own bookshop which consists of Muggle books and magical books. But only magic folk can see and find the magical books of witchcraft and wizardry plus much more. Which is weird because Clair dislikes Muggle books but there is usually piles of them in the house along with many witchcraft and wizardry ones.Clair had a few friends but her best friend is Aurelia Calians. Clair was also considered something of a 'nerd' in public Muggle school. Although Clair only went to public Muggle schools from the ages of 6 to 11. Two years after Aurelia. Because Clair used to be homeschooled but that didn't quite work so her parents enrolled her into public Muggle school hoping that Clair would make a friend or two and she did make one close friend. But when she got the letter from Augurey at the age of 11 she was taken out of Muggle school and sent to Augurey. When Clair was 14 she volunteered to help out the younger set of Augurey students with little things.Being patient, she could tolerate them unlike Aurelia. Clair is a pretty well balanced person and is a mentor to those who need advice.

Items: Clair's wand is 11 inches, made of mahogany and dragon heartstring. Its carried under her cloak. She also carries her books (2) and notes in a black leather bag that has a long strap that goes arcoss the chest and hangs from the side.It tends to get heavy after a while.

Animal Gaurdian: A light black great horned owl with patches of white fur here and there named Nue which means "cloud" in French. Nue is sarcastic and quiet. She only speaks when she has advice or wants to comment on something. Nue is a busy beaver and is always doing something. But she always has a watchful eye over Clair and is cautious of the people Clair comes in contact with. Clair was given Nue on her 10th birthday. So Nue is about 7 years old and is only fond to Clair and Aurelia.
