It's been confirmed that Lisa Marx has joined Kittie as a permanent second guitarist. Here's what the Seattle Times had to say...
"Seattle guitarist joins Kittie. Lisa Marx, a Seattle guitarist who played with local hard-core band To See You Broken, has joined the million-selling Canadian all-woman rock band Kittie. Band members met Marx last year after a Seattle-area show. Marx, who replaces guitar "tech" Jeff Phillips, returns the metal band to an all-female lineup. "I'm having so much fun," Marx said by phone from London, Ont. Marx, who grew up in California and Idaho has lived in Seattle for about four years, beat out more than a dozen guitarists. "We were looking for someone really solid and with something to offer, someone who could hear something and play it right off the bat," said bassist Jennifer Arroyo. Marx, who began playing piano at age 3, has been rehearsing with Kittie in preparation for a summer tour in support of "Until The End," an album due in stores this summer, Kittie also features singer-guitarist Morgan Lander, and her sister, drummer Mercedes Lander."
