Celeb Christmas Party at Ceasers

18th December 2002

Over a thousand guests were at Ceasers night club in Streatham, London on the 18th Dec 2002. We were lucky enough to go along with Dave, Jen and Brendan and what a wicked time we all had!

It was not long before Dave was called up on stage by the host, Adrian, whilst on two large screens at the side of the stage Dave's film 'Hell to Pay' was previewing. Dave entertained everyone with a few of his true life stories and chatted about the film. Dave was then busy with book signings and meeting his many fans.

During a three course meal we were entertained by many other first class acts, to many to mention, as every 20 minutes another act was on.

Another fan of Dave's 'Bubbles' from Big Brother fame.

Indiana, Jen and Kate still just about sober at this point!

'The Oddballs' One of the funniest acts we have seen (Adrian is on the right!)

New girl group 'Deja Vu' with their manager Kenny, a former Stars in their Eyes winner, who also entertained us all with his tribute to Errol Brown of Hot Chocolate. The girls were great on their debut and they will be in the studios within the next few weeks.

Brendan and Kate, as you can see it was nearly time to go home. We hear Brendan is looking for a new cleaner, any offers?!

After a truly wicked and entertaining evening and lots of hugs and kisses all round we set off for home, stopping only for vital supplies (fags and coke lol) At the garage Kate discovered she still had Dave's mobile phone in her handbag! At that very moment a phone rang, we were hunting the car in bemusement, only to find Jen's mobile on the back seat, we were 30 miles away! About turn for a meet with Brendan, Dave and Jen at Crystal Palace Parade!

We spotted them parked in a secluded space at the bus garage, with a flash of the headlights both ways we established contact. The coast was clear for us to reverse up quick and for Kate to jump out and hand over the goods. This sort of thing is all new to us at 3am in the morning, just imagine if the cops had been watching...now there's another story! What an end to the evening that would have been! We were expecting to be pulled over on the journey home at any moment! ("yes officer, we were handing over two mobiles to Dave Courtney at 3am in the morning, honest!")

Last but not least, a huge thank you to Adrian for all his hard work organising the whole evening, a great success.
