Behind the scenes at

an Audience With at Harlow

I was in Dave's house at 6.30pm when he asked me what day was it, when I told him it was Thursday, he said "oh shit I have an audience with at Harlow in an hour quick get ready!" Dave was on his mobile straight away to confirm the show was on, it was! Forty five minutes later Dave told Brendan to pull into the Shell garage and there were eight Outlaws revving up there bikes ready to escort us the final mile to the Harlow theatre.

Two in front & six behind (see photo) What a buzz!

The Manager was very pleased to see Dave and his entourage of twelve friends, he was a big fan of Dave's. He told us that the police had phoned him just a hour earlier telling him to cancel the show! He told them that this was an independent theatre & to piss off!. Of course he wanted a photo with Dave behind the scenes, I took this one just three minutes before curtain up.

We were all provided with drinks and shown to the dressing room where this photo was taken of Dave, Brendan & two Outlaws.

Here is Dave with the Manager & stage crew.

Dave had just been told his audience of 350 were ready to see him and he had ten seconds til curtain up. We could hear the audience clapping to the announcement of "Please welcome Dave Courtney O.B.E."

Dave entertained his audience for two hours and forty five minutes he asked me to go around the front of stage to take a pic or two.

At the end of the show Dave looked cool & calm, the show was another success, he then offered to meet his fans on a one to one for photo shoots & chat. Over fifty people waited to see Dave he spent a further 2 hours with them, posing for their cameras

.

The Manager thanks Dave an invites him back anytime, also he offers to show Dave's new film Hell to Pay as a premiere viewing.

After the show Dave has a photo shoot with the Outlaws.

This was my first behind the scenes visit with Dave and I enjoyed it immensely.

Thanks Dave, Jerry
