The winner is Ross Knole from Drayton Banbury who has won a copy of F**K the Ride & Copy of this photo with caption and signed by Dave. Thank you all for your captions. |
Here for your enjoyment are just a few photographs from the party night, there were easily over 1,000 guests! In fact Dave's just confirmed that the total in attendance was over 1,800 but fortunately not all at once! What a great party, we had to park three roads away just to find a free space! We were greeted at the main entrance by at least four 'bouncers' & a number of great looking ladies asking us to sign documents with regard to film rights. That's how come Dave knew the figures of attendance. As we entered ahead of us we could see a huge white gazebo, big enough for a bi-plane to park complete with red carpet too! We found out later that there were three of them! It must have taken us an hour or so to get a drink as we were stopped every couple of yards to say hello to old friends and new people who we did not know but who obviously recognized us from the wedding photographs, talking of which we gave Dave a beautiful framed one of the three of us together and it was the very first to go up in the front room of Camelot at his insistence. One of the first to greet us was our very good friend Seymour closely followed by Brendan and then of course Storm who we must add looked stunning in every outfit she wore that night! Big hugs and kisses to Dave's charming daughters and Hi to Beau.
The garden area of Camelot was now decked out with wood flooring on three different levels and smack bang in the middle was, yes of course, a full size Jacuzzi for the scantly dressed female models to play in. The spitting noise of the barbeques was not far by, two full pigs were on spits roasting away, Dave had two bars open with tons of booze, one in the decked area, the other in the second marquee. The third marquee at the end of the garden had 'Del Boy' Dave Byrne's (Maximum Leisure) massive sound system and stage within, big thank you to Paul & the ML crew! (well the fuses only blew once lol) At the very end of the garden was the entrance to the dungeon, coincidentally that's where we bumped into Dave who showed us around. The dungeon is amazing, Dave did a fantastic job in there and from what we hear, single handed! The biggest surprise for us was that the inside of Camelot had been redecorated throughout, all this within the last four weeks since we were last there! It is mostly all in Royal blue but the main bedroom is decorated in mahogany wood panels with a four poster bed and of course beautiful chandeliers hang in every room. We arrived at about 6pm and by ten 10.30pm it was shoulder to shoulder, we met so many people and enjoyed some great performances in the stage area. Our very good friends and renowned look-alikes Barely Connolly and Del Boy impressed the crowd with some people so convinced Billy was the real thing that they were calling up their friends to chat to him! Gary (Robbie Williams tribute) gave a great performance as did our special friends Peter & Emma (Two To Go from X-Factor) Then we noticed another familiar face...Rick Waller so went up to introduce ourselves, no need, he recognized us from the wedding articles in the press! Rick was not only an amazing performer with a great voice but also an absolute gent to us. Chat soon Rick and thank you!
Of course there were a few of the familiar faces around, Joey Pyle, Howard Marx & Roy Shaw to name a few. Kate had a chat with Joey who remembered that we wanted to cast his hand and also with Roy for the first time. That was all Kate could talk about....what a gentleman Roy was. Other famous faces appeared including John Altman (Nick Cotton, Eastenders), Mickey Pierce (Only Fools and Horses....he was still there entertaining everyone the next morning....we saw him on the cam!) Gary Bushell, John Konti, in fact so many we lost count so please accept our humble apologies if we missed you out.
Other good friends we were pleased to catch up with included Adrian Doughty, Piers, Welsh Phil & the gang, Diann & Steve, Rick, Terina, so many, we tried to socialise with you all, sorry to those we missed or neglected. Hi to Jacqui and Nicky....will email you ASAP. Hi also to Jon & Nick (the guys doing the documentary about Dave's school days) if you need any more about the class of 3C2 email or call Jerry anytime!
By late evening the Jacuzzi's warm and bubbling waters finally seduced a few people........we are not sure exactly what went on but it was very naughty judging by the crowds watching and the oooo's and ahhhh's! Another good reason for the lads out there to join up and watch Camelot live........that and the action from the dungeon of course!
We were so impressed that Dave had all bases covered and we mean all! We hope to be popping up to Camelot next week to get new pictures to update our photo gallery. Below you can see the 'fireman' whom at first was in a human gyroscope tumbling in all directions, then the rings were set alight for an amazing night time effect. He then went on to drive his bike over a jump bar also blazing away.
Finally from Dave and us of course a very big thanks to all for the great effort over the last few months getting Camelot ready for the big night, to all the lads and lasses who helped Dave out, you know who you are, big respect. J & K.
Dave what a great party can't wait till Christmas & no we could never top that one! Thanks!

Mouse Over Video Clip, to see Gatecrasher?! |
Photographs below courtesy of Lee Phillips. Thank you Lee, chat soon mate.
More Photo's to follow very soon! If you have any photographs of the event you would like featured here please email them to us or how about an interesting or amusing story like this one?:
Just had a chat with Tracy (as seen above with Mickey Pierce) who told us this amusing story that made her night even more memorable. Well, as ladies do, Tracy needed to 'disappear' for a few minutes. Not wanting to carry her handbag around she looked for the nearest friendly and familiar face.........who should she see but Joey Pyle. Without hesitation she asks Joey to 'mind her handbag for a few minutes!' Being the perfect gentleman Joey agrees and sure enough it is still safely in his clutches upon her return....he holds it aloft for all to see with a big thumbs up! Tracy always was a cheeky moo! Still, it couldn't have been in safer hands.

GUEST COMPLIMENTS:
Wild night mate, it was like turning up at a Mitchell Brother’s convention, there were more shaven heads per square foot here than you’d find in Green Street. It could have been a casting for a new TV show, Minder Idol
And what a lively mix of guests: punk rockers, Page Three girls, career criminals, actors, producers, porn starlet’s, club owners, boxers, singers, Gonadettes. Tom Parker-Bowles, eat your heart out.
Those unique Courtney touches turned the event into Plumstead Babylon. Most parties serve canapé’s, Dave served up a platter of skunk.
The girls in the torture chamber were very friendly too. Emma and Jessica asked to have a picture done with me and promptly whipped out their tits. So it must have been ever so hot in there. No wonder they were all stripping off and diving into the Jacuzzi.
If that photo ends up on the front page of the People I may have to sue!.
PS. Jess, lets have another picture done soon; and make sure I
get a print. Preferably mounted!

I was delighted to have been Invited to Mr Dave Courtney’s' Party, I was expecting something pretty special anyway, but wow!!. The first thing that hits you as you pull up outside is the HUGE Mural Entitled "My heroes and Villains". Everything about his house, from the many paintings to suits of armour and antique Weaponry and of course, every castle must have a Dungeon. The whole place is "Loud and Proud" - Just the way I like it!!
I was amazed at how many people there actually were at the party, It was amazing. There was plenty of great entertainment and I got up and did a few (I really can't help myself).
All in all, the night was nothing short of spectacular, I really enjoyed myself
and got to meet lots of new and interesting people, what more can you ask.

Dave Courtney's Showbiz Launch at Camelot Castle on the 8th September was truly Hollywood glitz with famous faces in abundance as was the flowing champagne.
Dave did his showbiz pals proud and we all wish him every success.
