You bid presuming it’s a ‘Gen. Auth. Harley Davidson product’ as it of course it says so in EBay’s ‘Title or Description’ as ‘Harley Davidson’ but more than likely it’s a cheap fraud or homemade copy, or just plain CRAP! Remember Ebay take no responsibility for Sellers items and descriptions

First Rule of not being ‘Ripped off’ is ALWAYS ASK THE SELLER QUESTIONS!

HEAPS OF QUESTIONS! Like:

Is this a Genuine Authentic Harley Davidson Product?

If so, ask for the Individual H.D. item Number? (Each & Every H.D. product has the ® ‘H.D. Registered trademark’ logo either sewn into it if a cloth item like clothes, bandannas, caps, T-Shirts, Patch, or Stamped into metal if a Engine part, Watch etc or likewise.)

But even then, it still may a fraud, so ask if the Item is New? And does it come in its original Harley Davidson packaging. (The packaging will also show what the H.D. item number is).

So it’s not an Original H.D. ® item but you like it and want to buy it anyway?

Do you want it for cheap or maybe for free? Why not!

Bid away and Win the item, and when it arrives in the mail, Immediately Contact the seller through Ebay as this leaves a record of the message you sent.

Advise the seller in your letter, “You feel cheated, as they advertised the item as a ‘Harley Davidson’ item but isn’t, and what can they can do to resolve this issue?”

Sometimes they do say, ”Keep it” or offer it to you for cheaper.

If you do not like the response from the Seller:

Contact the Seller again through Ebay messages and say,

I wish to resolve this issue with no malice, You know that advertising an item such as a ‘Harley Davidson item’ which isn’t a Company product and is illegal which carries a $500,000.ooo fine and/or 2 Years Jail, also against Ebay policy to which you maybe suspended, but by I’m willing to making an offer… (Then make your offer)

You should find the seller will come around if not directly insulted and offered a way out without complications.

Remember the Seller used Keyword Spamming (illegal on Ebay) to get you to look and bid on that item.

BIDDING AND BUYING - PROBLEMS WITH SELLERS - YOU DIDN’T RECEIVE ITEM OR IT WASN”T AS DESCRIBED (FRAUD) Or/And

Click On Left Side Security & Resolution Centre :-

You didn't receive your item, or you received an item that was different than described.

OTHER TRICKS:

It's not Illegal to advertise an item as just 'HARLEY' as it's not a brand name but probably will end up being aftermarket item.

If you see an Ad for instance with Harley Davidson Genuine Leather, it means it's not H.D. but is genuine leather only.
