Kathy's main instruments are guitar and drums but she also writes, raps, sings, produces, performs and engineers on different music projects. Linda Haus is the bassist on Drumkatt's 2001 recordings. Some of which are available for download on the "Hear it!" page. There will be new recordings available for download at any time now so please check back soon!! CD's are being released in May 2003.
Kathy has diverse musical interests...African, Cuban, Metal, Funk, Rap, Swing, Reggae, Middle Eastern... She is always interested in new collaborations and musical experiences.
Kathy teamed up with soul sisters Linda Haus (bassist and world reknown smart ass), and ralo (singer, dreampipe player, guitarist and Earth Mother Mind Jam Festival promoter) to create the band Mantra Truck. A band that really allows Kathy to get in touch with her funky, groovy, moody, aggressive, peace and love, tree huggin' hippie, socially conscious side.
On the other side of the spectrum Kathy Teams up with Taras Dynkavitch (bassist) and Mike (guitarist) for a more aggressive approach to self expression. That's not to say they aren't sensitive, quite the contrary, the band is a wonderful mix of metal, reggae, swing and groove with a political message.
