Chris Seavor: Conker Creator

Conker sat from his throne, and surrounded with variously weird minions, King Conker tells us that the story of how a squirrel like he became a king began only yesterday... During an evening of drinking in a pub called the Cock and Plucker, Conker blows off a prior commitment with his girlfriend Berri over the phone so that he can continue competing in a drinking contest with his friends. Hours later, Conker, heavily inebriated, stumbles out of the bar and passes out. When he awakens, he finds himself hungover and in a bizarre, cartoonish, and particularly vulgar dreamland, no less. Regretting his treatment of Berri the night before and feeling homesick, Conker wants only to return home to her. Before he can, however, he must go through numerous adventures with an assortment of odd characters (including a Colisseum-type gladiator battle with a poorly-endowed giant, a messy encounter with an operatic feces monster, and an all-out war between Squirrels and Tediz) as well as avoid the kidnapping attempts of the evil Panther King, who needs a red squirrel to become the replacement for a missing leg on his throne-side milk table.

As King Conker sits on his throne, he tells how he became drunkard to king in just 24 hours. After a night of binge drinking with his buddies at the Cock and Plucker, Conker wakes up in a field with a hangover and a scarecrow, who tells Conker of context sensitive pads. Then, Conker goes on an adventure where he has to fight everything from a robot haystack, to a brass oven with testicles, to a being known as the Great Mighty Poo, to a big boned caveman to zombies, to evil teddy bears, to an alien named Heinrich. And all he wants to do is get home with his girlfriend Berri and have a bottle of beer.

Hopefully in the futute Chris Seavor will again do the voice of Conker in future titles for Rare.
