Name: Liz. Actually, I’m a Liz trapped in an Elizabeth’s body. I was named after the Queen of England. ^__^ And my name means “Oath of God” or something. Which is weird because I’m not particularly religious.
Age: Just turned 18 a few months ago! Wheee! But I haven’t done any 18 year old things yet (Register to vote, get my driver’s license, visit the local adult shops, etc.). And I can now go to jail if I murder someone. Yippee.
Looks: I’m 5’3, which sucks, because most people I know are way taller than I am. Hence my nicknames “Frodo,” “Shorty,” and “Oompa-Loompa.” Grrr. I also have dark brown hair that’s past the middle of my back (but not for long, because I’m going to cut it shorter soon), and dark brown eyes. Um, the rest is a secret. Because I said so.
Zodiac Sign: I am an Aries! Although you wouldn’t know it sometimes, and other times you would. That’s because my birthday falls right at the beginning of the Aries sign and right at the end of the Pisces sign. So it’s kinda like I’m both.
Origins: I was born in Texas. Now before you start thinking I have some sort of Texan accent, let me specify that I was born in El Paso, Texas, which is about half an hour from the border of Mexico. So no traditional Texan accent for me; if I do have one it’s more of a Spanish one. I lived there until the summer my parents divorced, when I was five and my brother was seven. We came here to New Mexico to live with my mom’s parents, and we’ve been here ever since.
Hobbies: Back in the good old days when I didn’t have a computer, I used to go to the public library nearly every day to do three of my favorite things: reading, hanging out with friends, and bumming around on the Internet. Actually, even now that I have a computer of my own, I still go and do all of that. Other things I’m interested in are writing, drawing, anime, video games, and whatever else catches my fancy. I don’t play sports or anything because I’m the most un-athletic person you could ever imagine. I also like playing with my dogs, sleeping, talking on the phone, coloring (Yes, in coloring books. Seriously. You should try it sometime.), going to the movies, shopping, studying Japanese, etc...
Favorite Anime: Brace yourself! *deep breath* Dragonball, Dragonball Z, and Dragonball GT, Rurouni Kenshin, Shoujo Kakumei Utena, Gundam Wing, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Gensoumaden Saiyuuki, WeiB Kreuz, Serial Experiments Lain, Gasaraki, The Big O, Yami no Matsuei, Shamanic Princess, Arslan Senki, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Trigun, Slayers, anything by CLAMP, anything by Miyazaki Hayao, Gatekeepers, Vandread, Inu Yasha, Haunted Junction...uh...you get the picture. I like a whole buncha stuff. This list is endless.
Favorite Anime Characters: For the sake of brevity, I will choose five male characters and five female characters. So here we go: Son Goku from Dragonball/Z/GT; Himura Kenshin from Rurouni Kenshin; Quatre Raberba Winner from Gundam Wing; Son Goku from Gensoumaden Saiyuuki; Zelgadis from Slayers/NEXT/TRY. That does it for the guys! Now the girls: Utena Tenjou and Anthy Himemiya from Shoujo Kakumei Utena; Iwakura Lain from Serial Experiments Lain; Dorothy Catalonia from Gundam Wing; and Tiara from Shamanic Princess. Be warned that there’s a lot more; I’m just being nice to William (Who has to type this up). ^__^
Speaking of William: I’ve known William since waaaaaay back in Elementary school; the third grade, I think. Since then we’ve always gone to the same schools, right on up to High school. I consider him one of my best friends. He’s like a brother to me, and I hold his opinion in very high regard. He’s a strong and trustworthy companion to have. And contrary to his belief, I think he draws well. Reclaimed your throne, huh? Uh, suure...Tell yourself what you need to, I guess! ^__^ Just realize that the true competition doesn’t start until I get a hold of a scanner and a spiffy paint shop program, too, ne?
Interesting Facts About Me:
- Played the clarinet in Middle School (First Chair! Whoo-Hoo!).
- I cannot whistle, ride a bike, or drive a car. Okay, okay, you can stop laughing now.
- I have six pet Pit Bulls. Their names, in order from most bratty to least bratty, are: Little Mommas, Pebbles, Wee Wees, Baby, Brownie, and Snowflake.
- I saw Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring 4 times total.
- My younger half-sister looks exactly Harry Potter.
- I used to be able to recite the Yakko’s World song, from the Animaniacs (Y‘know, the one where he lists all the countries on the globe). But I forgot it.
- I speak more Japanese than Spanish, which is a little embarrassing since I’m Hispanic. ^__^;; But oh well. Japanese just sticks in my head better.
