SGT Andrew B. Lee


Sergeant (SGT) Andrew B. Lee was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on January 25, 1980. He graduated from Avon High School in June 1998 and began working in the finance industry. He held jobs as a Mortgage Broker and Assistant Branch Manager of a bank. In 2005 he went to work as a career Firefighter/EMT-B in Avon, Indiana. He entered the Army in March 2007 and graduated from Basic Training at Fort Benning, Georgia. Upon completion, he attended Advanced Individual Training at Fort Sam Houston, TX. SGT Lee earned the MOS 68W (Combat Medic) graduating with the highest GPA.

SGT Lee’s stateside tours include Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington and Fort Campbell, Kentucky. He has deployed to COB Speicher, Iraq for ten months as an Emergency Room NCO.

SGT Lee’s achievements include the Commandant’s List at the Warrior Leaders Course, NCO of the Quarter for 2-320th FAR, NCO of the Quarter for 1st BCT 101st Airborne (AASLT), NCO of the Quarter for 101st Airborne (AASLT) and NCO of the Year for 101st Airborne (AASLT).

SGT Lee’s awards and decorations include the Army Commendation Medal (4 Oak Leaf Clusters), Army Achievement Medal (3 Oak Leaf Clusters), Good Conduct Medal (1st award), National Defense Service Medal, Iraqi Campaign Medal with Bronze Service Star, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Noncommissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, three Certificate of Achievements, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Expert Field Medic Badge, Air Assault Badge, Expert Marksmanship Badge, Drivers Badge, and the Army Physical Fitness Badge.

SGT Lee’s military education includes the Warrior Leaders Course, Air Assault School, Brigade Combat Team Trauma Training, Level I Combatives, Eagle Marksmanship Academy, and Emergency Medical Technician-Basic (EMT-B). His civilian education includes 77 semester hours towards his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology.

SGT Lee is married to SGT Kisty Lee, who is currently serving with 212th Combat Stress Control Detachment, Fort Campbell, KY.
