Faded Light

In a world so dark
Your eyes were so bright
Cutting through the mist
So I may see the light

Your eyes were so bright
They changed my life
Showing new hope
Providing new might

A light so bright - that of a star
A love so strong
Couldn't bare to be apart

You made me laugh
You touched my heart

But now that light fades
