Xena

Xena was born in Amphipolis a village off the Aegean sea. She was the daughter to Cyrene and the sister to two brothers, Touris and Lyceus. Out of the three Xena was the middle child and closer to her younger brother Lyceus.

When the warlord Cortease attacked Amphipolis, Xena and her brother Lyceus managed to convince the villagers to mount a defence. By this time, Touris, had fled the village. Many of the villagers died in the process, Lyceus being one of them. After her mother blamed her for Lyceus's death, Xena took the surrounding villages as buffers to protect her home valley.
