The Esoteric Order of Iznet’s initial assaults into the underdark were incredibly effective, decimating the haughty dark elves who were unprepared for a coordinated assault from the surface. As the Order pressed deeper into the Underdark, the treacherous terrain (as well as the appetites of the Order’s disguised instructors) began to slowly whittle away at their numbers. Fortunately, luck was on the Order’s side. As they approached the perimeter of a small dark elf outpost, an eerie moaning reached the ears of the surface dwellers. Drawing nearer, they beheld a breathtaking sight.Swooping through the vaulted cavern of the outpost were billowing, dark-skinned creatures, resembling nothing so much as billowing, living cloaks. As the strange creatures careened through the air, they dove towards the fleeing dark elves, wrapping their thin bodies around their screaming prey. The soldiers were in awe of the strange creatures, and could do little to rouse themselves from their wondrous admiration of their cruel, yet graceful movements. Awe turned to fear, however, as the mass of creatures suddenly veered from the few remaining dark elves and focused their intentions upon the new arrivals.
The Order would surely have been wiped out then and there, were it not for a single derro priest which had accompanied the raiding party. In a flash of absolute madness, the derro realized that the creatures were manipulating the shadows around them, and thus held a link, however tenuous, to the dark god which he served. Shedding his magical disguise, the small priest rushed to the front of the group, holding his holy symbol of Elkolvir aloft. In a trembling voice, he commanded the creatures to halt.
To his surprise, the moaning of the creatures quieted to a mere hum as the throng of roiling shapes broke around the party, instead gathering above them in a churning cloud of whipping wings and glaring red eyes. A lone creature descended to the party, it’s billowing form quivering with pent-up rage. Feeling more confident, the derro ordered the abomination to lead the group back to the surface, an order that was grudgingly obeyed by the creature. Upon reaching the entrance back to the surface, the derro quickly subdued the belligerent creature, returning it to the temple headquarters of the Order.
There, curious members of the Order began to study the strange beast, eventually developing a unique fighting style based on the frenzied and unpredictable thrashings of the furious creature. Donning specially-crafted bladed cloaks, these warriors quickly became the elite soldiers of the Order, and came to be known as the Cloaks of Iznet.

Class Features
All of the following are class features of the Cloak of Iznet prestige class.
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Cloaks of Iznet gain proficiency with the bladed cloak.
Hidden Folds (Ex): Beginning at 1st level, the cloak of Iznet learns to use her cloak to obscure her position, granting her a +4 bonus to her Hide checks while wearing a cloak of any kind.
Cloak Dance (Ex): The bladed cloak is an incredibly distracting weapon to fight against, and the cloak of Iznet knows this. Beginning at 1st level, the elaborate swirling and spinning of her cloak in combat grant her a +4 circumstance bonus on all Bluff checks made to feint in combat with a bladed cloak. At 4th level, the cloak of Iznet’s skill with her weapon improves, allowing her to feint in combat with a bladed cloak as a move action, rather than a standard action. By 7th level, feinting in combat with her cloak has become almost instinctual, allowing her to feint with her bladed cloak as a free action. At 10th level, the cloak of Iznet’s skill becomes so great that her feints in combat with her bladed cloak affect all creatures in melee combat with her.
Eyes of Vengeance (Ex): After long months of training and battle, the compact decides to reward the cloak for her dedication. The next time the avenger returns to an Order facility after attaining 2nd level, she is placed in a magical trance while mind flayer fleshgrafters replace her eyes with those of a dark elf As a result, the cloak gains low-light vision as well as darkvision to a range of 60 feet.By 8th level, the cloak of Iznet has grown fully adjusted to her new eyes, expanding her dark vision to a range of 120 feet.
Swirling Shadows (Su): Calling upon her training (and, unknown to most cloaks, the powers of Elkolvir himself), the character gains the ability to cloak herself in shadows, obscuring her form. As a move action, the cloak of Iznet may swirl her cloak about her, granting her concealment until the end of her next turn.At 6th level, her connection to Elkolvir strengthens, allowing her to grant herself total concealment when using her swirling shadows ability. At 9th level, the concealment she gains using this ability lasts until the end of her next turn. This ability is usable while a cloak of Iznet is wearing a cloak of any type.
Sneak Attack (Ex): A Cloak of Iznet can strike an opponent’s vital spots for extra damage. Any time the cloak’s target would be denied a Dexterity bonus to AC (whether that opponent actually has a Dexterity bonus or not), or when the cloak of Iznet flanks a target, her attack deals extra damage. The extra damage is +1d6 at 3rd level, and an additional 1d6 every three levels thereafter. This ability is otherwise identical to the rogue’s ability of the same name, and stacks with any other form of sneak attack the character may possess.
Resist Poison (Ex): In order to build up a tolerance to the various poisons employed by dark elves, the Order continually adds small doses of varying poisons to their recruits’ food. By 4th level, the cloak has adapted to the poisons so well that she now receives a +4 bonus on all saving throws against poison.By 8th level, the cloak adapts to the toxins in her body so well that she becomes immune to poison.
Defensive Disarm (Ex): Beginning at 5th level, the cloak of Iznet learns to take advantage of clumsy opponents by using her cloak to relieve them of their weapons. If an opponent fails a melee attack roll against the cloak, she may expend one of her attacks of opportunity for that round to make an immediate disarm attempt against that opponent. This ability does not provoke an attack of opportunity, and may be used while the cloak of Iznet is wearing a cloak of any kind.
Cloaker Form (Su): A 5th level cloak of Iznet, unwittingly drawing upon the power of Elkolvir, gains the ability to assume the form of a cloaker. This ability is similar to the wild shape ability of a druid, save that the cloak of Iznet gains access to every ability a cloaker normally possesses. The character may retain this form for up to one hour per class level before reverting back to her normal form. This ability is usable while the cloak of Iznet is wearing a cloak of any kind. The cloak of Iznet gains the ability to assume her cloaker form an additional time per day at 7th and 10th levels.
