Realm was started September 14th, 2001.

First it began as DBZGT Realm. First day, we had ten members, mostly people of my buddy list. It rocketed to forty members in the next month, and gained popularlarity. Realm sported daily RPs, and many late-late night roleplays during the weekends. In April of 2002, the first storyline had come to a conclusion, with an alliance of fighters defeating the Four Horsemen, and eventually coming a tie with Li Shenlong. The End of Existence had occurred.

After a month long break, a new storyline, new characters, and new stats were in the rpg, and it seemed to be running fine again, having a great story to begin with. Me, the original webmaster, had left the rpg for three months to two other top members, who screwed things up. I came back, fixed things, and the rpg ran again, good as new. The same story has streamed since then, with two planets, and then survivors from one of the planets coming to the remainder.

Through all of these changes, there has been the net's largest Item and Technique Inventory, with the Item Inventory rocketing over 300+, and Techniques getting close to the same number. We've had a little over 100 unique members, and a great time with this RPG. There have been arguments, ups and downs, and many surprises in these past two years. I'd like to promptly and officially end this RPG on the two year mark.

The ending had the mind numbingly powerful fighters of Orochimaru against the Sacred Order of the Holy Knights. The RPG ended with a tournament ring covered in the blood of both forces. A few members survived, their characters to leave mysteriously. Realm started as a Dragonball based rpg, but involved into an all anime/all game rpg. Everything flowed together well, but it's now time to say goodbye. This RPG has lived pass its lifespan. The people who joined when it began have evolved into more detailed RPGs, role playing games that you create your own character based off of yourself, or a few of them merely play computer games, while the rest have grown bored. I don't know how many, if any of you are sad to see it go, but in my eyes, it doesn't really matter.

It shouldn't matter. It was fun while we were staying up all those nights, having 3 hour battles, but there's always an end to something. Now is the end of Realm. Goodbye and thanks.
