He also has a half sister who he didn't know well since she was much younger than he was. Married to actress Deborra-Lee Furness in February 1996, who he met on his first TV acting job in Corelli, an acclaimed Australian TV series. Hugh played an angry (and sexy) prisoner who falls in love with his counselor, played by Deborra-Lee. Hugh and Deb adopted Oscar Maximilian Jackman, who was born on May 15, 2000.
Hobbies: The outdoors, the piano, golfing, and windsurfing. Prefers to be casual--wearing shorts and no socks at all!
Other Talents: Acting and singing, plays the violin, can juggle 5 balls in the air at once, good with a yo-yo, he also plays the guitar.
