Age: ??. He IS an "older man", but he could be god knows how old. Visually, while an older man is more like 45-60 in our society, since this is anime-land, he's probably in his late 20's or early 30's. In the manga continuity, he states he's in the school's University. Which would suggest he is in his early to mid 20s. It's up to you whether you want to apply the manga to the series in this case. At any rate, Akio is considerably older than he makes himself out to be, as he looks the same in flashbacks to Nemuro's first experiences in the school. Tokiko returns to the school as an older woman, showing that Akio hasn't aged in form at all, while she's aged at least 20 or 30 years. That said, his actual age is anyone's guess. He could be 100, he could be 1000. Talk about an older man.
Seiyuu: Kosugi Juurouta
First Appearance: Episode 13 ("Plotting a Locus"), as the foreboding shadow talking to Dios about the trials Utena has conquered thus far.
Introduction: Episode 14 ("Boys of the Black Rose"), as the humble brother of Anthy, engaged to Kanae. By the end of this episode, those of us blessed with more than six brain cells know just how devoted to his sister he really is.

Sex: Jesus, I really hope no one's actually wondering about this.
Height: They're all the same height when you're lying down...but he is a *long-legged* older man, and he is rather tall. As far as numbers, though, I have no clue. He's consistently a bit taller than the rest of the male cast, so if anyone knows Touga's height, tack 2 or 3 inches on that and you've got Akio.
Jobs: "An educator with a part-time job on the side." (whooo...) He's the Trustee Chairman of the Board (a Dean or a Principal, in other words), though that job wasn't acquired by showing anyone his resume.... He's the proxy in place of the actual Chairman, his fiancee's father, who fell ill around when Akio came into the picture.
Residence: The Chairman's wing of Ohtori Academy, even though he's a proxy. For the newbies, that's the big phallus thing poking outta the middle of the school. He seems to spend most of his time at the top, in a planetarium "office". You're only shown one other floor, the floor Anthy and Utena live in later in the series
Pastimes: Akio genuinely enjoys tormenting people. One could call this a hobby. He's just brimming with random information, also, which means he's done his studying. Concerning stars, flowers, and cooking, at the very least. He also references Shakespeare in a normal conversation, the sign of a serious smarty-pants.
Likes: His most obvious interest is watching his plots come to fruition. You know... lives crushed, loves ruined, people stabbed. Who can blame him?
Dislikes: His sister is his weakness, and most of the negative emotions he displays over the course of the series revolve around her. He has a problem with sharing her with other people on an emotional level. Understandably...look what came of it.
