Volunteer Ideas
So apart from the volunteer projects you do with Key Club what else could you do to help the community? Here is a page with a lot of ideas for you to raise points, get hours and help out!
This non-profit organization helps animals (dogs and cats) find new, loving homes. This program saves the animals about to be uthinized from animal shelters and gives them the oppurtunity to find a new loving home. Up the street from the Yucaipa Skate Park and High School, YAPS is great place to volunteer as many other Key Clubbers in the area do!
The Redlands Community Hospital is a great place to volunteer! Whether it's working at the gift shop or reading and giving company to a patient, it's a great project that is always greatly appreciated!
Some other volunteer ideas...
~ Volunteer working at Senior Centers and Retirement Homes throughout Yucaipa! The elderly love visits and company and the attendates love a little hlp here and there!
~ Volunteer to help out a an elementary school! Daycares or other elementary facilities love help and the kids love to see High School students come!
