Randy's Rant
I have had ENOUGH.
OK. I have recently seen a television show on the wonderful
network of Fox.
Now, I love the Fox programming and I don't want them to change a thing about
it.
The program is question was an editorial on The Corruption of the American
Child.
This show was bashing the music, internet, radio, video games, and everything
else that I like to think as
an important part of everyday life. I am so FREAKIN SICK of hearing these winy
little finger-pointing cry-babies that don't know where else to look when they
want to blame someone for the seemingly endless supply of screwed up kids in
this nation. I have had about enough of this crap.
If a kid listens to music and goes out and does everything that the lyrics say,
then that kid is screwed up in the first place. They talk about song lyrics from
artists such as Eminem or ICP, which are crazy to begin with, but what about the
lyrics of other songs like a Blink 182 song that says they artists would like to
have relations with the hind quarters of a dog. Are you going to go out and do
that? I didn't think so, so what makes you think "normal" kids (if
there is such a thing) are going to do out and stab a fat man in the butt. I personally
don't want to see a fat man's butt let alone stab it. So you ask why kids kill
people and do things like Columbine. Well, I tell you that those kids are
screwed up and angry. Want a tip? Don't mess with these kids.
Well, as far as the internet goes I got only a few things to say. You can find
and post almost any kind of crap on the internet, just take this web site for
example. You can't stop everyone from posting what they want or it wouldn't be
the vast source of useless information that it is. You have to let the people
read, post, and see what they want and you can't stop them. Get over it.
Video games are violent, I will give you that. I only say that because that is
what it has come to to entertain the children of this nation. If you hear about
a crazy, suicide bomber killing nine people some how helping Elmo collect the
letters Q and the number 4 to help Big Bird find his way out of the wooly,
stoned elephant has lost all of it's luster. With movies and TV in the state
that they are in, it is just wrong to ask kids to give up their fast paced,
blood spilling, violence packed outlets. I know a lot of people that play very
violent games and don't do to school with the M79 to teach the hicks and preps a
lesson.
I'm going to cut this thing short because I would not read anything longer than
this myself. My point is to give the credit where the credit is do. I don't deny
the fact that some of the things mentioned above do not better society and may
even bring it down a little. I am saying that parents should be involved more in
what their kids are doing if they are so worried about this problem. A kid
should have been taught right and wrong and if they can't tell (here is where I
sound cold and mean) then maybe the kid should get hurt. This should teach the
kid a little. People where watching racing movies and then going out wreching
their cars. I say that these freakin morons deserved to die. If they were stupid
enough to do that then maybe they would have done something worse in the future
like getting drunk and killing someone I know. I want you to think about that
before you go calling something a tragedy next time.
