Kate Lockley
COMING SOON
Elisabeth Rohm
Elisabeth may be familiar to fans of daytime drama "One Life to Live," for her recurring role of Dorothy Hayes. When she learned her character was leaving the show in 1997, she told reporters she hoped her next role would pose greater challenges. Her wish came true when she auditioned and won the role of Kate, an L.A. police detective. She was originally slated to be Angel's new love interest and fans were immediately cranky. However, as her character evolved, Kate became more of a professional ally, sometime friend, then an enemy, and finally a friend again to Angel. If she ever returns, who knows what the future holds in store for Kate, or "Scully" as she was referred to by other cops on the show before she lost her job. Elisabeth was born in 1973 in Dusseldorf, Germany, and grew up in Manhattan, New York. She received a B.A. in Drama and European history from Sarah Lawrence College, where she also studied writing, before starting her acting career. In addition to "One Life To Live," her credits include the 1999 mini-series "The '60s," appearances on the "Fantasy Island" and "Turks" and a small, uncredited role in the Woody Allen film "Deconstructing Harry." The versatile actress was cast in the Turner Network Television's first-ever dramatic series, titled "Bull," as Alison Jeffers, Wall Street risk-taker. She left "Angel" in 2001 in order to devote time to "Law & Order," where she plays Assistant District Attorney Serena Southerlyn.
