Have you ever had a day, where nothing is going right?
Have you ever had a day, where everything is really bright?

Have you ever had a day,
Where everything’s ok?
Where good things happen and bad things stay away?

Have you ever had a day were good things happen, then the bad comes out to play?
Where you hear the best news in your life, and then there’s suddenly something worst waiting at bay?

There are lots of things in life I don’t understand,
It’s a bit like a rubber-band.

Life just goes on and on, full of surprises, and questions that don’t have answers,
It’s like you’re a dancer.

Where you would dance and dance, to a silent song that never ends.
Or where you’re on a road that goes straight all the time, without any bends.

Well this is what I have learnt about life.

That you will never really understand.
