Long long ago in a city far, far away, an idea was formed in the cradle of a young mind, giving rise to the now-all powerful Proxy....
It all started with a joke. The "Anti-Club" was formulated in the minds of Katie, Jennifer, Carol, and Daniel as a place for the intellectually inclined students to converse. As the Homecoming Parade approached, Katie was struck with a new idea. Why not have an "Anti-float"? It was quickly passed by many prospective members of the fledgling organization. All agreed with the idea of the anti-float, and a small following was formed by the time the club was to be run by the principal. At the first meeting outside the school's office, it was decided that all the members would fake epileptic seizures if the club was not passed; however, the principal was away, so it would have to wait until another day. A preliminary meeting was held with the vice-principal. All seemed lost as he dashed their hopes upon the rocky shores of life, telling them that it would require craploads of work to be approved by Her Majesty, the principal. Yet, undaunted in their task, each member held the torch within their hearts to keep the dream alive. Finally, three days before Homecoming, through strength of character and determination, they perservered against all odds, making the dream reality. Proxy was born.
