CONGO.
Last night I was watching a TV show about the history of the Congo. The presenter mentioned that the Congo River
has the greatest flow of any river in the world, and that it has enough energy to power the entire continent of Africa
if it were to be harnessed correctly. This spoke to my spirit! Surely there is a move of the Spirit coming out the Congo
that is going to flow, and flow, and flow, and flow, and it's going to touch the whole of Africa with it's power
and it's scope. 'Out of deepest darkest Africa has come a great light'.
PRAYER & INTERCESSION POINTS.
Pray for an increased apostolic release and a raising up of the apostolic in the Congo.
The Apostolic is a demonstration of God's Father-heart. It establishes, disciples, and releases churches and individuals
by 'fathering them'. This is a thousand times more effective than teaching, as Paul said to the church in Corinth 'You
have many teachers but few fathers', 1 Cor 4:15. If you look at this region of Africa, the plan of the enemy
has been to take out 'fathers' and to systematically attack fatherhood both in the family and in government.
Let's pray in the opposite spirit for a release and raising up of the 'fathers' as apostolic father-leaders release
and equip, with a view to seeing their children go beyond where they are at. Jesus displays this father heart beautifully in John 14:12
when he tells the disciples that they will do 'greater things than these'. This apostolic revelation of God's father heart is THE key to harnessing and releasing
the power and river of God in the Congo through His people. If this one thing, the apostolic, is in place and functioning
as it should be, then everything else will quickly fall into place in this nation, as 'the oil flows from the head down'.
If the head of the family (father) and the head of the government is good, then the blessing will flow down to everyone!
Historically, the enemy has killed fathers, inparticular government leaders by assinations in this region, resulting in
one of the fastest and most brutal genocides in history. If the enemy can release so much death and destruction by destroying
the 'heads' how much more blessing can be released if we ask the Lord to establish and release His headship and
government in this nation? I am praying for the fastest release of blessing in this nation that the world has ever seen!
Let the river flow! I am just going to give this one prayer point this week as it truly is THE KEY.
