THE SUPERBOWL - A PROPHECY FOR THE OKANAGAN VALLEY, CANADA.
This prophecy was given at a 'Lord of the Harvest Meeting' in Vernon,
B.C., Canada, on 29 January 2000. The day this was given was also Superbowl Sunday that year.
IT'S SUPERBOWL DAY.
The Lord wants you to know that today is 'superbowl day'. He is proclaiming
this 'superbowl day'. What does this mean ? Well there is a bowl up in
heaven, a bowl of incense that is the prayers of the Saints of the
Okanagan rising to His throne. The Lord says this is a 'super' bowl,
because He is drawing His people together from right across the Valley,
from one end to the other, from all of the different churches, so that
He will receive a 'super' bowl, a huge bowl, of incense in heaven. He's calling the various 'bowls' of prayer together to make one big 'superbowl' across this valley. We ask you,
Father, that our prayers to you would be as incense, that you would smell
the sweet fragrance rising to Your throne and that You, O Lord, would
turn and gaze upon our valley and pour out Your blessing, so that You
can be honoured.
A VALLEY-WIDE MOVE OF THE SPIRIT.
The Lord says that because it's superbowl day, He isn't going to deal
solely with individual churches or even individual cities any longer,
but He is sending a move of His Spirit that will impact the entire valley.
He say's 'It's big. It's bigger than you could ever imagine in your
wildest dreams. It's bigger and deeper than the Okanagan Lake that I made
to stretch the entire length of the valley; and just like you all share
the lake, and you can all dive into the lake that you share, so you will
all be able to dive into what I will do here'.
HE'S THE LORD OF THE DRUG-LORDS.
Thank you Father, You are the King of Kings, Lord of Lords, Ruler of the
Universe. The Lord says He is also 'Lord of the drug-lords', and He is
coming to claim them for Himself. He says He is coming to Armstrong,
and that the drug-dealers and drug-users there are going to put down
their needles and take up the Cross. His arm will be strong in Armstrong;
strong to deliver, strong to claim the lost for Himself, and strong to
see them set free from all that would hinder them.
IT'S NO LONGER 'GREY CUP' DAY BECAUSE THERE WILL BE COLOUR.
Yes, the Lord says 'It's no longer Grey Cup day here in His church,
but it's 'Superbowl Day'. He is taking away the dullness of His church,
and He is coming to release colour in the arts and drama, and new music
and song. He says to Kamloops 'Arise and let your heart of celebration touch the heavenlies and flow south to bring freedom in praise!'. He says that He will restore the freshness and the youthfulness
of His Bride, and you will see it with your own eyes and feel it deep
within your hearts. He says that every church will be full of colour;
there will be banners hanging in every church, and flags of praise
waved before Him by every generation, even the very old and the very
young. There will prophetic dance and song and freedom of expression.
He says that there will be paintings; there will be anointed paintings
bearing His glory in every church. Every church will have paintings in
the sanctuary, and in the entrance-ways, and in the hallways; anointed
paintings that when the sinners look into His Face in them they will
fall to their knees and repent and give Him the glory. Oh, the spirit
of repentance released from these paintings will be so deep that many
will not be able to enter the sanctuary of the church until they have
dealt with their sins and their past, and God has taken away their filthy rags
and given them their bright, white, bridal garments. I see them in the
hallway, crying out to God on their faces, then I see them clean and restored
and taking their places at the wedding feast of praise that He is
preparing for Himself in the sanctuary.
'THE VOICE OF ONE CRYING IN THE DESERT'.
This is superbowl day. The Lord is coming upon every city. He is coming
to Lumby, He is coming to Armstrong, He is coming to Vernon, He is
coming to Salmon Arm, HE IS COMING. He's coming to the whole valley,
from one end to the other. I see the spirit of Elijah sitting there in
Osoyoos. Yes, he is ready and he is rising up and raising up and a move of
repentance is coming out of Osoyoos and it's travelling north, breaking
peoples hearts over their sin and setting people free. Osoyoos I see you
with 'the voice of one crying in the desert preparing the way of the
Lord'. It's the intercessors and the prophets, weeping before the throne
repenting on behalf of the peoples. It's going north, the fire of
repentance being released in the church with zeal and boldness bringing
humility, brokeness and abandonment to the King of Kings in its wake.
Oh, it's so violent and it's so powerful, it's so God. It's hitting
Penticton, it's hitting Kelowna, it's hitting the first nations communities
across the valley and they will lay down their idols and look to the
One True Creator. The demonic powers are trembling as their eviction
time is near; God's people are repenting and their freedom will be
complete.
THE FIRE OF EVANGELISM RELEASED.
The fire is coming. He says that the fire of Elijah will ignite His
evangelists. They won't be sitting on their seats in the churches any
longer; they'll be out bringing people to the Lord in the power of God.
'It's the power of God unto salvation'; it's healings, prophetic power,
and the miraculous and it's coming to His evangelists in this valley.
He says that His church is more than what's contained within these four
walls. He says that every temple and every church that He has ever built
has a 'court of the Gentiles', and that's your city; the people in your
city who don't know Him; your city beyond the four walls of your church.
He says that your city is a part of your church, and He is coming to claim
it. I see power evangelism flying out, flying out, flying out of Kelowna with power and
authority reaching every part of the valley and even flying over the
valley walls out to the nations bringing His majesty and His honour and
His glory wherever they land. It's the youth, carrying the banner of
salvation, laying down everything so that the Son will draw all people to
Himself.
Yes, Lord. Thank you Lord, thank you, thank you.
THE PASTORAL ANOINTING; HEALING THE FAMILIES THAT ARE BROKEN.
He says He is coming to mend the broken families. He says He is releasing
the pastors and the pastoral anointing beyond the walls of the churches.
They are coming to heal the children, the abused and the broken and the
forgotten, the one's who have cried out Him, and the agony of their
wounds and the cry of their pain has reached their Great Father in
heaven, and He is going to be swift to act. He says that the 'ministry of
children and families' is HIS ministry. He is going to bind up the
wounds, and I see Him using His pastors to rub anointed ointment into
the deep, deep wounds, and to bind up those who have been broken.
HE LOVES THE CHEERFUL GIVERS.
Thank you Lord. Lord come and bring prosperity to this valley. Lord
break the spirit of poverty, and free the families that are suffering
and toiling under it's heavy loads. Open the storehouses of heaven over
the valley. The Lord says He longs to do this, but He will not break
the spirit of poverty over us until we have repented of the greed which
is in His church. Oh, He is sick of the 'hoarders', but how He loves the
'cheerful givers'. Father, I repent of the greed within the valley; the
spirit of greed which has taken from the poor and robbed them of their
dignity. Forgive us Father. Forgive us. Thank you Lord. Thank you, thank
you, thank you.
