LAKE COUNTRY PROPHECIES,
MARCH 2010.

These are the prophecies that were given to Lake Country (Winfield, Oyama, and Carrs Landing) at the Valleywide Intercessors Gathering at Full Gospel Tabernacle on 6th March 2010. I have also included the intercession and prayers as they too are prophetic in nature.

HE'S NOT GOING TO PASS YOU BY.

ALEC D. of Vernon: The Lord is saying, 'He's not going to pass you by, He is not just going to pass through, but He is coming to stay. Your hearts are ready for a visitation; you are ready, and you have put the red carpet out for Him, and you have unity. So there is a 'commanded blessing' on you, and He is going to come. He is going to personally come to see that blessing released. You're going to see amazing things happen, and you're going to see people that you thought were unreachable come into the Kingdom. It's not because of what you pray, but it'll be because the King Himself is in your midst. He's not going to pass you by; He's not just driving through. He's going to stay. So get ready because He is coming'.

PEOPLE ARE GOING TO NOTICE.

UNKNOWN: 'Even as there is a sign in Winfield that says 'Slow Down', and people have just been speeding on by, but now people are going to notice. And just as they notice that sign, so they're going to take notice, they're going to sit up and take notice of Winfield. They're going to notice what's going on there, and it's the Lord's work'.

RADAR IN LAKE COUNTRY.

BOB MCGORAN of Kelowna: The Lord says, 'There's always radar in Lake Country!'. The Lord would say, 'They're going to slow down because you guys are on His radar!'.

WINDSURFERS.

UNKNOWN: 'I see on the lake; windsurfers. There are windsurfers. They just blow across the lake, and they're shouting, and as the wind picks them up so people are going to notice. It's the people of the Spirit of God, you're going to see them out there'.

LIFE IN WINFIELD.

DAWN BRAGG of Vernon: 'I have a friend who lives in Winfield, and she say's that her, and not just her, but people might live in Winfield but their life is in Kelowna or Vernon. I want to pray against that, Lord, that those who you have put in Winfield, that they would stay in Winfield, and that would be where their life is, Lord. That they wouldn't see the attraction to go to Kelowna or Vernon because You have provided for them everything that is needed for them in Winfield. And for the churches too, Lord, that they would not go to Kelowna or Vernon for their church life because you want community. So I pray that you would open that up Lord; that there would be no more of these 'travellers', because you want their lives to be there in Winfield'.

PROSPERITY IN LAKE COUNTRY.

ALEC D. of Vernon: 'As a part of that Lord, I want to pray a spirit of prosperity on Winfield, that new and Godly businesses would come in the Name of Jesus. Let them take root in Lake Country. Let new jobs be developed there, and I just pray that young families would stay in Lake Country and that it would be a young community that is on fire for you, Lord Jesus; a place where family comes first. Release that to them in the Name of Jesus'.

PSALM 1.

EVELYN LIPKE of Vernon: 'I just want to speak Psalm 1 over you, the Lake Country, as it shows me a picture of a valley that is green as it is beside the water:

'Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
Nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
But his delight is in the law of the Lord,
and in His Law he meditates day and night.
He is like a tree planted by streams of water,
that yields it's fruit in season,
and whose leaf does not whither,
and whatever he does shall prosper'.

And it's interesting that Alec prayed that because in the last line it says 'Whatever he does he prospers'.

So Father, I just declare that over Lake Country, that it's not named Lake Country by any mistake, or coincidence, but You named it because You wanted to see the fruit, God; that they would be 'like a tree planted by the streams of water' and that they would 'yield their fruit in season', and that 'their leaves would not whither', and that whatever they do will prosper by Your Hand and by Your Spirit. For it's not by might, nor by power, but by your Spirit, God, that as they live out the first part; 'not walking in the counsel of the wicked', but in the counsel of the Holy Spirit, that as they live out these things so they would be blessed in Jesus Name'.

(A NOTE FROM ALEC: As I type this out I am reminded of the unity that is present between the various churches in Lake Country, and I believe that the Lord is saying that the 'streams' in Psalm 1 also refer to the 'streams of churches' that have come together in unity. It's because of this unity, and these streams being willing to 'mix' in relationship, that there will be life and prosperity and fruit in Lake Country in the coming days).

THE GOLDEN GATE.

DARLENE C. of Salmon Arm: Darlene gave Wenelda a gift with the Golden Gate Bridge on it and said, 'The Lord says that you're not just a bridge, but that you're a golden bridge. You're golden because you've been refined in the fire and you've come forth as gold. And I just pray for Lake Country to build bridges and to fill in the gaps between all the different people groups, and between churches and different visions. You are a bridge, but not just a bridge, it's the golden bridge with the refining fire. You are a bridge builder in that community'.

A JOSEPH.

DARLENE C. of Salmon Arm: 'Gary, I call you 'Joseph', because you are a Joseph, and I believe that the Lord has given you a new garment, and it's a robe of many colours because you have been faithful. So the Lord has given you a new garment, and it's his garment, Josephs; a robe of many colours'.

PRIME TARGETS.

JAKE B. of Kelowna: 'There are a lot of transients who come through Winfield because of the orchards that you have. They are a wide open field. Many of them have no family and they're looking for something that is living and you have the Almighty; The Living Thing. They are prime targets for you to witness to'.

ISAIAH 54:13-17.

DANNY R. of Kelowna: 'Can I speak a Bible verse over you? It's Isaiah 54:13-17;

All thy children shall be taught of the Lord,
and great shall be the peace of thy children.
In righteousness thou shalt be established, and thou shalt be far from oppression, and fear, and from terror.
Thou shalt not fear.
Behold they shall surely gather together against thee,
But whosoever shalt gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.
Behold I have created the smith that brought the coals from his fire,
that brings forth his instruments for his work,
and I have created the waster to destroy.
But no weapon that is formed against you shall prosper,
and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgement thou shalt condemn.
For this is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,
and their righteousness is of me, saith God'.

A STUMP WITH MANY SHOOTS.

SANDY LEWIS of the Okanagan Indian Band: 'I saw a stump, and this stump was really, really big, but it had huge roots. The roots just went out; they really went out. But it was a stump; it wasn't a full tree as it had been cut off. But I saw tons of shoots just coming out everywhere; from the sides and all around the stump. And I heard the word 'Restore'. You are going to restore. The scripture that came to me was 'hope defered makes the heart sick', and these are the kinds of people who are really waiting for you. It's ones who at one time knew God, but their hearts just got sick. So that's what those shoots are that are coming from the stump'.

FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT.

UNKNOWN: 'I have many trees in Winfield and they all bear fruit, but they're of the earth. This new fruit that I speak of is coming in the Spirit and you'll be bearing fruit of the Spirit. I want to seize you, and meet you so you'll be drawn to my Spirit. Give praise to the God that you serve'.

ISAIAH 43:21.

SYLVIA K. of Ashton Creek: 'I get Isaiah 43:21. It talks about the Lord is well pleased with His righteous ones, He will exalt the law and make it honourable, and it goes on about restoration. That's Isaiah 43:21'.
