A DOUBLE PORTION FOR SALMON ARM, THE FAVOURED ONE
This prophecy for Salmon Arm was given during a Valleywide roundtable leaders gathering in Winfield on 30th January 2010.
Salmon Arm approached Kelowna with a half empty cup and said 'I am asking for you to fill this cup, the reason
why is because Kelowna has a spirit of prosperity, and Salmon Arm has spirit of poverty. I'm coming to you as coming
to a Joseph, and asking that you would fill our cup in the spirit and give us some of what Kelowna has. Salmon Arm
doesn't have it, and Salmon Arm has come to you and we're asking that you will share with us what you have in the
natural, in the physical, and in the spirit'.
Kelowna was deeply touched by this, and said 'You're breaking me up. I won't just fill this cup, but I'll take
these two cups here and fill them both, and give you a double portion'.
Kamloops said, 'God has been wanting to do this for so long; to release it out of Kelowna'.
Vernon said, 'This is scriptural too, because Joseph had all of that prosperity, and he could choose who to give
the double portion of it to, and he chose to give it to Benjamin. So as a Joseph City, Kelowna can bestow favour and
a double portion as the Lord leads'.
Kelowna took the two cups and returned with them filled to the brim, and said, 'It's not right for me to hold anything
back, so I give you, Salmon Arm, a double portion in Jesus Name! I pray the release of a double portion just as she
has asked for, because Jesus, you do not give crumbs to one who has asked for bread. So in Jesus Name I pray a
blessing on Salmon Arm. I pray that they would be ones who would build your Kingdom, and ones that would glorify
your Name'.
Vernon said, 'Father we recognize the authority that you have given to the church in Kelowna to bestow financial
blessing, and we ask that you would release that financial blessing as a double portion on Salmon Arm. Salmon Arm is
like a Benjamin, who was the father's favourite, and just as it was the father who chose the name for Benjamin;
'son of my right arm', not 'son of sorrow', but 'son of my right arm', so in the Name of Jesus I proclaim that the
strength of the Lord is going to be shown in Salmon Arm and through Salmon Arm. I'm reminded, too, that you're going to
do an evangelistic work in Salmon Arm that's going to affect and infect the whole valley for you, Lord Jesus. And what
do you need when you cast your line? You need a strong arm, and it's the 'arm of the Lord, the strong arm of the Lord'
displayed in you that's going to cause you to raise up fishermen in Salmon Arm that will cause people to come into
Your Prescence. I ask that you would release evangelistically from Salmon Arm, that you would break out to the
right and to the left, to the front, and to the back; release the spirit of evangelism that has been lacking in this
valley. May it come in the Name of Jesus. Salmon Arm you are 'the favoured one'. 'Favoured one', Salmon Arm, be
released in Jesus Name'.
Salmon Arm replied, 'I can't get over this; we're going fishing'.
Vernon said, 'Fishing is good!'.
