Here are all the prophecies that were given to Rutland Gospel Tabernacle who hosted a Valleywide Intercessors
Gathering on 5th March 2011. Thank you RGT for hosting us. May the Lord richly bless you in the coming days
and years.
AN OUTPOURING OF THE SPIRIT.
BRIAN T. OF SALMON ARM: 'Jesus is going to release the Holy Spirit in this congregation, onto and into all of
the believers. So that these people will not want for any spiritual gift, for all the gifts will be in operation
amongst you. The golden bowl represents Rutland, and the stirring in the goblet and the over-flowing of water
represents the congregation flowing out from this building into the streets of Rutland to share the things of God.
To witness of Him to the unsaved through signs, wonders and miracles. No longer will Rutland be known as hard,
untilled ground, for the ground will become soft and fertile and will bear much fruit. The Rose of Sharon will
walk through the streets of Rutland and just as the rose has a red flower, so the blood of Jesus will bring cleansing,
healing and salvation. The streams that flow out of the bowl are eight different communities that are going to be
impacted by God through what He does in and through Rutland Gospel Tabernacle. AMEN!
A SOLDIERS BIBLE.
ALEC D. OF VERNON: 'I have a gift for you (Pastor Ted). We always give gifts at these meetings - it's better than Christmas!
This is my Great Uncle's Bible, and it's a World War II Bible. It's a soldiers Bible. I want to give you this as
I feel like this fellowship is called to warfare, and there are warriors in your midst. And I believe that as
a pastor the Lord is saying to you that this is a soldiers Bible, and this was precious to me and my family, and to my
great uncle as it was close to his heart when he was in the trenches and on the battlefront. I see that the Lord is
saying that as a pastor you have been one who has put the Word of the Lord in their hearts, in a
place where they can carry it into battle, and it has girded them for the battles that are ahead. So I want to
honour you with this gift. I want to remind you too, to keep on doing the same thing again and again, and to keep
on putting the Word in their hearts so that when the time for battle comes, that they would be ready and that they
would be equipped so that they would go and they would be good soldiers for Christ'.
ARROWS TO BRING DOWN GIANTS.
EVELYN L. OF VERNON: 'I have a gift to give as well. And this woman who was Metis from the Yukon, her family
made these arrowheads, and Danny this is for you. I wore it today, and as I was praying I knew that I was
supposed to give it away. And Danny shared about how he had found four arrowheads, and I thought 'wow!' and the
story came to mind of David with his five stones. And so I believe that as this arrowhead is made of stone, so
that there will be in you here, the power to take down giants'.
Evelyn's prayer: 'Father we thank for the leadership here, that you are
epuiping them for war, and you have fashioned these hands for battle and trained these hands for war. And Lord we thank you that they do it
in the power and the strength of the Lord with the equipment that you
are giving them in the spirit. Lord you are worthy. Let them go forth
in power. With that Lord, we say that they will take down giants and
that they would triumph and be in this place as overcomers in Jesus
mighty name'. AMEN.
THE SHINING ONES.
JOHN W. OF VERNON: 'I was looking at Danny there, and immediately I got
the word 'Shining Ones'. Have you ever heard of the shining ones? There
was a group in Africa in the early part of the century who were called
the shining ones because they reflected the glory of God so much that
wherever they went miracles happened. So I am going to pray that you
will become, and you are, shining ones in Rutland. Where the light
shines that eternal life would happen, and when the light shines the
darkness flees'.
John's prayer: 'So Father in the Name of Jesus I thank you that you
said that we are the light of the world and that these people here in
Rutland are the light of Rutland. I ask that you would shine forth
through them, and that they would submit themselves to you in such a
way that there is nothing that they would do except that you would work through them as they proclaim the Gospel of the Kingdom. And as they go
that they would raise the dead, heal the sick, and cast out demons and
cleanse the leper, and they will say that 'God is at hand' and that the
darkness would indeed flee. We thank you for this in Jesus Name'.
A MASH UNIT.
UNKNOWN: 'When I saw you two (Pastor Ted and his wife) come up here I
saw a nurses uniform, and I saw a red cross on your uniform right here.
And I saw you (Pastor Ted) with a white jacket and a stethoscope. I
don't know the area of Rutland at all, or what this region stands for
as I am new to the Okanagan myself, but I feel like the Lord is
saying that this is a MASH Unit, and that's funny as we're talking
about war. He said that this is a MASH Unit. I saw stretchers coming
in with people on them; the wounded in spirit and the hurt, and many in
pain and God says to get ready as I am going to bring them in, but
they're not going to be here for long as there is going to be an
acceleration in My Spirit so that they will be raised up and then sent
out to do the work of God. So I am saying to you, 'Get Ready', because
He is bringing them in to you, but you're not to nurse them along,
for long as there is a healing that's going to take place, a very quick
healing. So get ready for what God is about to do in this area'.
BOLDNESS.
KATHLEEN A. OF KELOWNA: 'As I stand here today, I stand beside the man
who was my first pastor. I came here as a new Christian, and was well
pastored in a little church that I saw the beauty of the Lord in. There
were people there who took me under their arm and nurtured me and
raised me up and became spiritual mothers and fathers to me. And it's
something that I have never forgotten. I am, I suppose, the only one
here who knows what it was like when I first saw him (Pastor Ted) and
how he preached the Word, and the Word of God came out of his mouth
like fire. There was never a sermon from that church that he did not
preach the Word, and he preached it with passion; great passion and
a great passion for Jesus. He played his guitar and in those days I
remember the music and how anointed it was. And I also remember the
boldness that was on Pastor Ted. When somebody gave a word, he did the
right thing, he weighed and tested it with the Word of the Lord. I have
not ever heard another pastor do that except from that pulpit. It's
something that is missing today.
Pastor Ted, I can call you that, what the Lord has been putting on my
heart everytime I see you, is that you have shut-up that boldness that
you used to have, and God wants to release that in you. The word that
He gave me, when I said 'Give me a word for him', and He gave me that
scripture out of the Psalms where it says 'When your hair turns to grey
I will use you to bring the glory to the generations'. Now that is your heart, to bring the glory of God to the generations. But that boldness
once again needs to be released through you. It's the hurt and the pain
that man has put on you that's stopped that. And right now I say that
God wants to release that, God wants to release that. As the Lord
raised me up from your pulpit, and made me a bold, bold woman of God
as I went to that church; my first church where I took my first baby
steps. And you stood beside me in my pain and you encouraged me to keep
on going and today I keep on going. He wants you to raise up now in the
name of Jesus, in the Name of Jesus right now. In Jesus Name I break
the bonds of the enemy off you, right now I break them all, all the
works of the enemy. I smash them and in Jesus Name I release you to go
in the power of the Holy Spirit. I say 'Go in the Name of Jesus', with
boldness, boldness to speak His Words that are in your mouth. Yes,
Lord! I'm sending you forth with boldness, with boldness, with
boldness, and with power so stand back no more in Jesus Name.
Hallelujah! Rise up as the almond blooms in the Spring, as the almond
is the first to awake, so must you awaken. Awaken, awaken, awaken, let
that call awaken within you with fire and passion in Jesus Name. In the
Name of Jesus let it come, Lord. Thank you Lord.
There is a boldness in you too, there's a boldness in you. You have
shrunk back, but there is a boldness in you. You're not a shrinking
violet. That's the word that I'm getting. The Lord says that as the
violet is crushed so it's scent comes out and permeates air, there's a
scent that's going to come out of you. In the Name of Jesus it will
permeate the air. Yes Lord, release her in the Name of Jesus. There's
an ordination for the two of you, for His Hand is perfect, and His
Season is perfect for the two of you. For the time is coming, but those
feet need to walk out with it. Bless them Lord. Bless their going
out and bless their coming in. Let your face shine upon them, God. Let
your countenance come forth upon them in Jesus Name. Thank you Lord'.
QUIET POWER.
EVELYN L. OF VERNON: 'When I see you I see a sweet and gentle spirit in
Him. Just the heart of a servant. Just gentleness. A gentleness and a
meekness. I call it quiet power. So I just want to give you these
earings. They're feathers and they represent that verse that says 'Be
as wise as a serpent, and as gentle as a dove'. Just in that gentleness
that He keeps you. In that gentleness that He's given you, it is quiet
power, and don't let anyone say that it isn't powerful because it is.
Those words that you speak in wisdom and in quietness in such great measure. I see you speaking those words into peoples lives in meekness and gentleness because of your heart, because of your heart that breaks for people and your heart that is wanting to serve in Christ, it will
come forth in power and bring healing to people. So we bless that gift
in you'.
Evelyn's prayer: 'Father, I thank you that she is a part of this pastoral-ship, that you have called this team, that it isn't just the
pastor, but behind him is this gentle heart that encourages him, and
helps him come into the fullness of what God has called him to. And
Lord, I speak that into her, too, that the fullness of what you have
called her to as a pastors wife, God, would come into fruition. Lord we
just bless her heart. We bless the heart of compassion, in Jesus Name,
Amen'.
FEATHERS.
JAN P. OF TAPPEN: 'I knew that it was feathers. I was woken up early
this morning and was told that I was supposed to bring this. And it
just confirms to me what the Lord is up to. It's a feather. It's a
very light thing, and you wouldn't really think about it's strength.
That's what you have been thinking that you are, but do you realise
what animal this was attached to? It's from a hawk that can soar, it can pounce, and it has vision to be able to see. That's who you are
attached to; it's the One who sees all. He is your strength. I want
you to take this feather and never forget who is on the inside of you.
Because He's your strength, and He'll give you a vision, and you'll be
able to see things in the spirit. With your heart you see and hear
things in peoples lives, and you say 'Oh, Lord I want to be able to
touch them, and I want to be able to speak into lives'. He knows them.
And you're attached to Him. He hears the cry of your heart, and He's
got a cry that says 'Is there someone who will hear My Heart?', and
you're it! Just don't ever think that you're just a feather in the
wind, because you're attached to Him and He is mighty'.
PSALM 23 - A TABLE IN THE PRESCENCE OF YOUR ENEMIES.
SANDRA P. OF KELOWNA: 'I have this word, I think it's for you, and
it's for Rutland and it's for the whole of this body. It's from
Psalm 23:
'You prepare a table before me,
in the prescence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil,
my cup overflows.
Surely, goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever'.
As I got this word, I saw a table in front of you all, and it was
laden, and the enemy is on the other side of that table. Between you
and the enemy is all of the fruit, and all of the abundance, and all
of the provision of the Lord. I feel like the Lord is saying that
there have been many negative words spoken over the Rutland area,
about how hard it is, and the amount of crime that there is. These
are just some of the words spoken over this area. And I stand, right
now, and I ask for a different witness, and as fellow Kelowna-ites
we declare your word unshrinkingly. I pray God that you will begin to
bring a blessing in Your abundance and that this church, this body of
believers, these ones who are under Your headship, that they would
feast at Your table, and that they would eat, and that they would
drink, and they would be filled to overflowing. I pray, Lord that
their eyes would not be on the enemy, because the enemy prevents
fullness, but that they would get fuller, and fuller, and fuller. The
Lord is going to do this because you are a congregation of the Lord,
and this is the table that the Lord has set before you. And I beleive
God, that you have destined this church to make an impact on the area
around them, and the neighbourhood around them. I pray for a blessing
upon them, that You would give them strategy, strategy and strategies
are all over you! I feel like the Lord wants to give you strategies
for this area, and neighbourhood, for your neighbours; the hearts of
those who are around you. God is entrusting them to you. I feel that
He is giving you strategies to take down strongholds in this area, to
make an impact so that God can flow out of this place, out of Rutland;
that His river will flow over. So I thank you Father.
THE EAGLES NEST.
SANDRA P. OF KELOWNA: 'I had a vision this week and the vision I had
was of an eagles nest. The structure was there, it had already been
there for a while. The eagles were plucking feathers out of themselves.
It was painful, but it was a sacrifice of love, as they were going to
line this nest with these feathers. It was preparing the way for a time
of incubation, a time of nurturing, and a time of watching. The
feathers had so much meaning as I pressed into the Lord. The feathers
were warmth, they were comfort, they were a big part of keeping the
eggs warm so that they could actually hatch and grow. So I feel like
there is this incubating here, and it's a calling He has for this
region as well. You are incubating, and you are going to be calling
things forth for the Lord. The feathers had a scent to them, and I
could smell the fragrance, and after the chicks had been born, even
after the father and mother eagles had left, the young still had that
comfort and security of that fragrance that remained. I have a sense
that the fragrance will remain here, that even though you may come and
go, that the nest is going to do well. It will be secure. You are
significantly placed, and this is a significant time. So I bless all
the brooding, bless all of the raising up, and I want to pray that this
body would be blessed to go out as a church and to mobilize.'
