Lord Oberon had really upset Queen Titania, so she left him. He worried that harm would befall her, as the forests were no place for even a goddess to be alone So he thought and thought about how he could protect her when she wouldn't allow him near her. Finally he cut his hand, and when the blood hit the ground dragons sprung up. He said to them, "Go and protect my treasure, your Lady Titania." Well, when Titania saw the dragons, she fell in love with them and reconciled with Oberon. Since then dragons have always guarded treasure. You won't find much written about her, her name has been passed through my family by word of mouth, she is the Faery Queen and goddess of the green. Her consort is Lord Oberon, together they have produced many children among the faey, including several that are not so..... shall we say, desirable? Lady Titania is the original "Independent Woman", she has been known to divorce herself of Lord Oberon for hundreds of years or until he comes around to her way of thinking. She is kind and loves all her creatures, including those humans have no respect for nature.
