Nae Eardė - Polats
(Po-lats)
A joyful bunch of people. They resemble Humans, but are usually a couple feet shorter and have the stamina of Elves (they slightly resemble Elves). They are very well known for their market places, loving to sell and trade things. But mostly amongst themselves; a great deal of their "treasures" would be useless to the rest of the world. They used to only dwell in one area of the world, Tlite, but now live throughout it, not being afraid of everyone else. It was the Elves that pushed them out the doors of their trees (Polats favour living in trees) and made them see the world. They befriended the Elves easily enough and soon the humans and then finally the Tuvi. They do not get along with dwarves still. There are a few who do, and when they are, it shocks everyone. They mostly enjoy the company of themselves, though, only feeling comfortable with the familiarity of another Polat close by at all times.
Polats only control a few of their own lands.: Tlite; the most well known and largest, Brill; Tlite's neighbouring town and known fo rit's wonderful feasts, Parodo; a fairly new Polat wood near the forst of Vui Gun, and a few others.
