Endorath
Nae Eardë - Endorath
Endorath, son of Reloras, was a great archer and dagger-weilder: among te best of the Vuiri. He was born the prince of Ilnor Forest, but refused and then dwelled in Vuir Gun when Anewai was the Queen (who was later to be his father's wife). He worshiped her and fought mainly for her and she favoured him. He fought for many years, trying to keep Vuir Gun safe from enemies. He became well known throughout Vuir Gun and neighbouring lands for his great archery skills.
Anewai, unwillingly, sent him on the most dangerous task he had ever known. The Dark Realm of Alnir had been planning an attack on Vuir Gun for thousands of years: Vuir Gun was known for it's strength and possession of great magic, and that is what Angaurol, the Lord of Alnir wished to possess. Anewai found this out and sent and army of Elves to stop them: Endorath being the lead of the largest company. The battle was hard, took many months and many Elves were slain, but in the end they won. Endorath returned to Vuir Gun, weary and almost ready to return to Ilnor to rest, but when he returned, he saw a beautiful woman, Her beauty lit up his wearied heart, but she was an adventurer and a survivour. Imediatly he found out her identity from Anewai. He received many welcomes and offers to rest in the Healing Houses, but he did not need rest or healing. Endorath wished to meet this Sundriel; and so he did. They talked for hours in the Garden of Delonsrien and fell in love. They could feel in their hearts that they were arneons. After basquing in eachother's company for many months, Sundriel yearned to return to her home, where she was heir, Teswer. Without thought Endorath went with her. They faced small but various dangers, but they seemed petty after the battle with Alnir.
They made it to Teswer. Endorath thought it rather beautiful for a human city. When they arrived at Sundriel's house, she found her mother had died. Endorath held her close and consoled her while she mourned. She recovered quickly and found out from her uncle, Éorul, that she was now the Queen of Teswer, because he could no longer rule. The two married, and Endorath became King of Teswer, the first Elf to dwell or rule in there. They ruled for many years, only leaving for something that intrigued the, or to visit Vuir Gun. Sundriel grew old, though Endorath did not. He decided to give up his immoratality. He quickly traveled to the gates of Evienah, to have this done. He chose the agehe wished to continue from: Sundriel's age. He quickly (as quick as an old man can) returned home. To his relief, Sundriel was still alive, but barely. He felt his heart drop at the look of her wrinkled form. He picked her up and rode her to Evienah. They let the two in to dwell for eternity. Sundriel was the first human to enter the gates of Evienah.
