I am aware that not many people like Juri. I totally respect their ideas and beliefs, but it’s when they all start rambling about how much she sucks and make stupid comments that are totally not true is when I gets to me. I’m aware that this might not change any ones views, its just my opinion.
All she does is whineFirst off Juri is an angst character and almost everyone loves angst characters. However she has one slight fault- she’s a girl. That’s right it is the unthinkable. I hate it when people are like that, when fangirl automatically turn on to angst guys and are like “ahhh how sad” but when they see and angst girl they are like “What a baby.” Its sexist- even if you are a girl.
Juri is a baby. Yes there are times when she is weak. Weak and scared, but a baby? Never. She wasn’t as strong as Ruki or as brave as Lee but she never slopped down as low as a baby. She just never had the confidence to stand up to things- she didn’t believe in herself. But that was only in the beginning, after awhile Juri finally got her the spark she needed. However right after that her digimon died and she was lost again. It took her awhile but in the end she got her act together and blasted her way out of the D- Reaper. She got a new sense of confidence and strength mentally.
All Juri does is cry. Oh please, she was mourning- and she didn’t cry in the beginning and in the end she stopped. Yes she did cry a lot but you have to realize, it was mostly for three episodes. It may seem a lot of time for us but the whole time when Leomon died and when she got depressed is about the time she was possessed took around thirty minutes, probably less. How do you expect her to suddenly get all cheery in that short amount of time, most people take months to get through that. Look at Ruki- her parents divorced, probably for a long time- and she’s still affected by it! Why can’t Juri mourn the death of her digimon?
Juri is freakin annoying. Wow that was the most intellectual comment made against Juri. You should be the president of the United States. Seriously, it really is all your opinion. You think she is, I think she isn’t. But to tell you the truth people make her out worse then she is, over exaggerating things to make her look worse.
Juri is so cheerful and happy it’s scary. *Snort* Make up your mind first too depressed and now happy. Ok lets get to this, Juri is a sweet girl. She likes to be nice and likes to help, she never hold grudges. I know, how evil she must be. After all everyone knows that being nice is such a sin. Please, don’t try to argue this point, it’s so stupid.
Juri is mean and evil. This is not even worth arguing.
Juri is a damsel in distress. Yeah that’s what I thought first, but when I looked into it, I realized that she wasn’t. First off if she wanted to be she could have been a damsel in distress since the first episode, she wasn’t. She wanted to do things on her own, she kept her pain in for so long. And if you notice in the end she stood up for herself and was saved Culumon and her until the D-reaper oozed in and Culumon had to do his stuff. And if you notice everyone has been saved a lot. Ruki, Lee, Suzie, Takato, ect. You can find one in everyone.
Her puppet is SCARY. Actually I kind of like it. What kind of person would play with it not caring what other people think, Juri would. I love the puppet and if you notice her puppet is sort of like an alter ego. She expresses emotions through it that she is too scared to show herself. The puppet is very symbolic.
Juri didn’t grab Beelzemon hand!. Well lets see, Beelzemon killed Leomon, Beelzemon left, then Beelzemon comes right after mental torture, uses her dead digimon’s move which reminds her all over again about Leomon’s death that Chaos has been using against her, and then he tries to grab her. I’m not surprised that she is shocked. She wasn’t around when everyone else found out he turned good. And after the D-Reaper thing when still nobody told her she still forgave him. Not to mention she let him live- not even Ruki told Takato to not kill him.
Juri is not as cool as Ruki. Once again an opinion. Many hated characters are hated because they are a threat to anothers popularity. I hate people who hate other character because the character they like is either a rival of them or the same sex of the other. It’s like hating Daisuke cuz of T.K. or hating T.K. because of Daisuke. Just let it go unless you have a really good reason to hate them.
Her voice is annoying: Perhaps but take that up with her voice actor. True her voice seemed a little on the high side but that’s only her dub- I never really heard her Japanese voice actor. Besides her dub actually was very good to my surprise. She not only played regular Juri very well with her crying, happy, and depressed- she played evil Juri quite nicely. Her voice actor did a very nice job.
Well there’s my little rant. I totally respect your view on Juri but please if you don’t like just ignore her and leave your comments by yourself thank you.
