The purpose of this website originally was to get in contact with fellow pagans, young as well as old. It went great guns for a very long time, friends that I can and still trust, sharing their own knowledge of their own paths and experiences and I happily placed them on the site.
Everything serves a purpose in this Universe. It doesn't matter if the person is a High Priestess, a mere witch finding her way, one that is lost to the world and just looking for hope, or a God's Witch. We all have our own paths to take, our own lives to lead and those things, as well as our metaphysical, spiritual, magickal aspects, tends to change as time moves on. The Winds of Change.
I have been in a place of limbo for quite some time. Mostly, it started with the move home, not knowing what lay ahead of me and questioning whether the decision was right. I can vouch personally, as well as my fellow sister witch that lives with me, that this was the best move I have ever made, the best decision I have ever concluded. I am home and with that, a fresh new perspective on things.
The old Midnightskies has served its purpose. It has brought sisters together from the vast expanse of time, brought daughters to their mother through past lives, and linked people that needed help and guidance when the time was critical. By no means, am I turning my back on those precious moments.
But as with all things, it's time to throw out the old and bring in the new. With that said, marks the official decision to completely tear down this website and start fresh.
Anyone that has submitted an article and wish to keep it, please contact me via personal email (everyone has one or more of my emails) and ask for a copy. Everything will stay on the server for a period of 6 months, after which, everything will be deleted. You have more than enough time to make the decision and get with me.
The new website is already in the works via ideas and thoughts, we have located another web server that we can work easily and yes, the chatroom will STILL stay intact in some fashion. I cannot give that up simply because the site is getting tore down. I must, as with all people that change their paths, acknowledge what the chatroom stood for and what began from it.
As we build the site, you will be given the link. We are re-creating everything, down to every graphic, button, bar. Our knowledge in creating graphics and building sites, this website will not only take us all in a new direction, but will honor the old, as it should be.
