There are many reasons to switch to the new Mac OSX. This includes a fantastic ease of use. Are you tired of having to reboot your PC after it crashed again? The main reason that you should switch to a Mac is the rock-solid Unix based operating system, OSX, with a easy to use aqua interface. All Macs with OSX come with a massive array of FREE software including iTunes, the best music jukebox available anywhere, iPhoto, an amazing digital photo program, iMovie, the simple but very effective digital movie editing software, Mail, the organized, fantastic e-mail software, along with the essential Internet Explorer. Lots more applications are inlcluded (iCal, iSync etc.) On a PC, software like this would cost you piles apon piles of cash. Don't believe the myths that Macs don't work with Windows. Microsoft Office is available for Mac, and Macs work on Windows networks. If you are into professional movie and graphics designing, the Mac is the only way to go, with programs such as Final Cut Pro being used by George Lucas. Don't be fooled by the different technical specifications, as a 'Dual 1.25Ghz G4' Mac can outrun the lastest Pentium on the market (Intel 3.06Ghz) by a massive margin. Overall, it all comes down to ease of use and functionality, and Macs delivers in all areas. |
