Dark Island was not a nice place. It was mainly a mist of a very deep darkness. Inside the mist, a person would have a hard time seeing the hand in front of their face. The place was where dreams came true. It may sound good, but the bad dreams came true too. This is where the Lord Rhoop was found and rescued. They escaped the mist by follow an albatross(Aslan). When they escaped, the mist disappeared and was nowhere in sight.
