Mundane Rules and Information

Mundane is 20+ and has been RPing since 1996.

Dicing has a place but here are times I don't wish to be bothered with it.. It disrupts the flow of a room and when you feel the need to roll dice to let your character sneeze you are just rolling dice you are no longer role playing. My characters may have them due to guild/kingdom affiliations but their are times I do not wish to mess with them.

It's a simple standard. More than two people in a room, move OOC conversations to IMs. If you are asked to do so, it's not an attack on you. It's a request to keep the room interesting and active for the people playing. OOC conversation is not playing.

If you are told a room is non-dice, or is non violent, respect it. If you don't like it do the respectful thing and move to another room. There are plenty of rooms on AOL. You can even make one of your very own and make your own rules there. If I have to put you on ignore I will, but frankly, do you really want to look like such a schmuck by making others put you on ignore, as well? One of my such rooms is the Forest of Serenity.

Without a RP profile I can't determine who or what you are, which makes it difficult for me to play with you. Every character should have a life scroll. You can't very well describe your character to every single person who walks into a crowded room. So if you don't have an RP profile, this character will not acknowledge yours no matter how good and likeable you are.

U, bf/gf, b4, ur, and all these other abbreviations people are using in play. It isn't bad in mun conversation, it is just icky to have to play with someone whose character does this. As a result I have removed characters from my list of welcome players.

Mundane is offlimits to anything offline. That's right! I am taken! But don't let that effect RPing. There is a difference between IRL and RP, please keep them seperated.

RP in IMs is most welcomed.

Anything else...I might add if it comes to mind..
